Q: Does someone have a verified time on Tuesday that the Series X will drop? Or is it at midnight?

submitted by Aditya - 4 years ago
  • A: I have been on the site for 3 days, and today 11/10, 12PM nothing went live as far as online orders. This sucks...

  • A: Target Customer Service told me 12 AM central time.

submitted byOreo - 4 years ago
  • A: The console went live at 12am California time. If you live in Massachusetts the console went live at 3am. I cannot put into words how angry I am that there are no consoles left. Now the only way to get a Series X/S on launch day is to pay $1,000 online from a scalper. Thanks Target, it was a great idea making the console online only. The Target website and Target circle app crashed on pre-order day, I was unable to pre-order because the app was broken. By the time the app was fixed the pre-orders were sold out. I will not shop at Target ever again.

submitted byAnnonny Mouse - 4 years ago
  • A: i was told the same thing and and to order it on the site but every day i go on the site it says out of stock so how are we going to order it should be able to place an order and when it come in to send it out not right that people are buying it and selling it way over the price.

submitted byAnthony - 3 years ago
  • A: I’ve had one for 4 years.

submitted byRetro retro Joe - 3 months ago
  • A: I was told by an agent on the Help Chat that they had not gotten a final inventory count and that to wait for an update today. They said they had not sold out today yet because they were waiting for the stores to submit inventory. Not sure how true this is. Thought I would share

submitted byXbox Series X - 4 years ago
  • A: Their website is not working, went into the store, plenty in stock but can only buy online and the website was never updated. They did not have an ETA to fix the issue and refused to sell one in store.

submitted byAC - 4 years ago
  • A: These Mofos went onsite online around 1:25am, seams only delivering to heavy stores, ended up getting now, not local, live in sticks, have to pickup mine an hour away. Good luck peeps, these seam to be very limited for online purchase and pickups.

I have nothing against the item itself, my issue is with Target and the delivery service. I ordered an Xbox series x and a monitor. These packages were delivered through FedEx and were delivered to the wrong address. The delivery driver not only delivered it to the wrong house, they threw the two packages over the gate of the wrong house and basically fed my Xbox and monitor to 4 dogs. My packages and electronics inside were completely destroyed. After providing video evidence of mis delivery, proof that they delivered to the wrong address, and picture evidence of the destruction of my products, Target made me wait 5 days just to have a rude supervisor tell me they decided not to do anything about it and hang up on me before I can respond. Their reasoning was FedEx saying they successfully delivered the products and providing a photo. Yeah, they successfully delivered to the wrong house and provided a picture of the wrong house where you can’t even see the packages. Learn from my mistake and do not trust target to deliver an expensive product to your house. With this much proof they would be dumb to deny responsibility. Legal action will be taken.

So much faster than my Xbox one. I'm 30 now and not really quick to switch systems and stay updated like usto. After turning the new system on I was immediately satisfied with my purchase. System loads right up, my games download/update 10x faster. Quick switches between games and apps. Very happy with the X.

Rude employee on customer support. Spent over 40 minutes trying to figure out their false advertising over the “free 24 months” of game pass. Total lie and they do not care. Hung up on me, ridiculous. I’ve never had an issue with target until now. They should not say that there is a chance for free game pass if it is not on this specific purchase.

I have both PS5 and series X and can definitely say that there is absolutely no difference in performance at all! I have my PS5 since launch day and just recently got a series x for the game pass. I like the series x a lot. For now I'll be playing the xbox instead of the PS5 especially when Black Ops 6 comes out since the game is included GamePass 👍🏼

I am a casual gamer and the hardcore gamers always bring the "pLaYsTaTiOn BeTtEr" attitude when I ask what console to buy" I had 2 years of game pass left over from when I had it on my Xbox One X. I did the deal where you get 20% off when buying the console with NCAA Football 25, I also had a 10% and 20% coupon so I was able to buy the console, game, and 1TB SSD for under $500. Honestly I had a PS5 and it is not that special, there isn't many exclusives that aren't woke on that platform. Sweet Baby Inc ruined Spider-Man 2 for me. I would say if you are a casual gamer get an Xbox, the console runs cooler and is much more quiet.

I liked that the console is quiet, I dislike the loudness of the controller, it is smaller than Xbox One controller which sucks. AA batteries in a controller blows it’s 2024, GamePass is over hyped tried some games on there most recently Hellblade2 and fell asleep lots of old games on there too. Overall it’s a 6/10 returned it and got a PS5 much happier.

I purchased this console in July of 2022. Would you expect your $500 console to stop working in less than 2-years? Yeah, me either. The warranty is 12-months long, and Microsoft will attempt to charge for any hardware repairs. Save your money and peace of mind. Go Sony or PC. Oh, don't expect Target to help if you're not a big spender with them. If your shopping history doesn't reflect thousands spent, you'll get the standard script.

Doesn’t have a loud fan like the PS5, doesn’t have coil whine like PS5, cheaper gaming experience with Game Pass. Sony Ponies can pay $70-$100 for Black Ops 6. I’ll be playing through Game Pass

It forces you to do updates to play games. Even offline, you have to update the console all the time. It’s ridiculous. The updates take sometimes hours. I regret buying this piece of junk and switching from a PlayStation.

Xbox Series X received (ordered on line) and out of the box, would not load a disc. The disc drive looked to be installed off center with the opening in the console. All of my old games were useless. Started exchange process. The unit was delivered to the warehouse, but no replacement sent. I was told this was due to the console being "used". Not sure how you are supposed to tell if an item works without turning it on. Still waiting on my refund. I was told to wait another 5-7 business days, even after waiting 3 weeks already. I doubt I will be ordering anything else from Target.com.

Broke after 14 months and their Allstate policy denied our claim. They claim that it has water damage even though it’s been on a shelf and never near water. Stay away from this or buy it from another company that actually stands behind their products.

15 months and it’s dead. 3 months out of warranty. I took it in for a new HDMI port and that didn’t fix it. Guess I’m switching to PlayStation.

The original cable does NOT support 4k and when connecting to a TV you'll have to change multiple settings in order to hear but once you do that it works perfectly
