@say_yes_to_the_book My last read for June is Yerba Buena by Nina LaCour. I heard a lot of anticipation about Yerba Buena and picked up a signed copy from Target the other week. I’m so glad I didn’t wait long to read it. This novel can only be described as a sapphic love letter. The story of two individual women’s lives and how they merge together. Such great story telling and realistic descriptions of brokenness in humans. I found myself having a hard time putting this one down and read the majority in two sittings. Definitely one of my new favorite sapphic romances and will likely find myself rereading Yerba Buena in the future. I’ve read Nina LaCour’s work before, but I think this is the first adult novel she’s published.
