A: Hi Cmiller! As long as the Wi-Fi provided supports a 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n network, the Blink Video Doorbell will work fine. Even if they advertise the Wi-Fi router as being 5Ghz, they typically are able to enable the 2.4Ghz network as well. Depending on how the router was set up, you may need to call and request they enable it. Hope this helps, have a great day!

A: Hi Clara! While it's common to permanently mount the Blink Video Doorbell via screws, I have friends and family who have had success with mounting tape on other video doorbells as they are fairly light weight. Bought this doorbell for the apartment we moved into on black Friday, with no deal - still this same price. within two months it doesn't work with outside lighting - it'll work indoors, capture everything in low lights but once you put it outside in daylight the screen goes completely white (you can hear foot steps, hear people talking, but nothing but a white screen.) I have the app, have gone through every inch of the subscription, still there is no two way talk. and it takes at least 5 minutes for the videos to go to the app.

It only worked for about 30 days then it just gave out I had an electrician rewire it and change out the batteries and still wouldn’t connect to my phone or the wifi I did everything to resetting it and completely turning it off still nothing. Trash, don’t waste your money

I loved it at first until 4 weeks went by and I had to replace the batteries. I put new ones in and again I had to replace them with new ones again. I returned it after 2 months. Definitely not worth it. The camera works great but buying batteries every month is not worth it.

As a stay at home mom to a husband that works late shifts this puts me at ease, I can use my echo show and get live feed if I need to and I can choose what areas it records in and what areas it doesn’t which is so helpful if you have a flag or an object by your door that would normally trigger it to record every time it moved.
