First, this frame is really pretty and very on trend. Unfortunately, the measurements are listed as the picture hole with the mat being 5" x 7". NOPE. The picture hole with the mat is 4.5" x 6.5". That's a full square inch smaller than how it's advertized. My 5 x 7 picture DOES NOT FIT. Very, very disappointing. I ordered 6 and all 6 are going back. You get what you pay for I guess.

The cardboard mat that lines the photo is not adjustable. You really can't remove it to adjust the opening size. The metal frame is nice and sturdy yet delicate.
