Q: The back comes with a warning NOT to hang with a wire.... which had been my plan! What's the danger in doing so, especially if the wire guage is thick enough for weight durability?

Really sturdy, easy to hang, and fit the room very well. I would say this is more brassy than your typical yellow-gold. It’s also a very matte finish, not shiny. I really like it, but it would be hard to match any fixtures to it exactly if that’s what you’re going for.

If you’ve seen the Project 62 round “brass” mirror it’s the same color as that. Not a gold nor a brass material. It’s a pretty mirror. Also the mirror appears smaller in the pics I attached.

The mirror itself seemed like it was good quality, and I didn't see any issues with it, no warping or anything like that. But the gold color looks really cheap, more of a matte yellow. And because we are putting it next to a brass light fixture, we need something that looks more like gold/brass. If you aren't trying to put any gold or brass around it, you can probably pull it off.
