Q: Hi is the label window open once you slide in the paper?

A: Yes. There is no plastic covering/protector over the paper viewing area. You just slide the cardstock label in and out through the slit in the side.

Q: I know it says Nickel but is that just the color or are these made with nickel? Trying to avoid allergy. Thank you.

Super easy way to label your bins! Don’t have to worry about sticking labels that may not come off. I wish it came with a few extra papers if you needed to change the labels but it’s easy to get card stock paper and replace. I used them on Y Weave Baskets. Might have to get some more.

I love these metal bin labels. They can be attached to almost any basket, and I find them essential to keeping things organized. I've provided photos showing them attached to a couple of different types of baskets that Target sells, as well as an overview of a section of a closet where I've used them. The price is right, too. I highly recommend this product.
