A: I haven't tried these yet, but I am about to. T J M-Marshy places sometimes get Ralph Lauren 100% cotton sheets. The crinkle fabric feel you are looking for is the word percale. They have a matte feel

After I washed them the smell mostly went away but it still smells a little sour. I’m not going to be using them because I don’t know what kind of chemicals they used during manufacturing.
