It’s very functional and cute. I love to make the NYT Mark Bitman bread in this. Mine came with a small nick in one of the handles but I wasn’t really buying it for it to be forever pristine. I wanted a Dutch oven to cook with.

I purchased one and when loading into car I noticed it was chipped. I exchanged it for one that wasn't chipped, only to see it was chipped the packaging. The care instructions say to rub any chipped areas with oil in order to prevent rusting. But not expecting to have to do this upon first use.

This is a great option for a dutch oven if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars. It's a good size, great quality and a very pretty cream color. Unfortunately it does chip easily - mine got a small chip the first time I use it. I would still recommend it because its does the job of a dutch oven and is much more affordable than others out there.

Chipped after 1 (gentle) use… this is consistent with other reviews of the magnolia enameled cast iron products. Super bummed. I’d say this renders the product unusable since the paint could contain lead (yes, still an issue in 2023) and then flake into the food. :(

Reasonably priced for a dutch oven, it’s lovely, and so far ..it seems like good quality. As with any dutch oven you need to be careful while handling it. But i haven’t had any chipping yet and i’ve used it to make pasta, bake bread, etc. My only issue with it is the color, it’s more of a cream. Not really a true white ..which i’d prefer.

Enamel from the lid chipped and fell into my baking bread in the middle of the bake time. I was only baking at 450, even though online it says it is oven safe up to 500. I was out of the return window, so now I am stuck with a useless, expensive dutch oven. Very frustrating. Will not be purchasing from Target again.
