A: Hi RoyG! No. But if you do want one with micro-beads, check out clean and clear. Most products of their company come with micro-beads. Also Neutrogena has a few products.

I’ve suffered from adult acne for a few years. Tried everything to clear it up from changing towels and pillow cases daily to having expensive laser treatments to the tune of thousands of dollars. Nothing worked until I tried a benzoyl peroxide treatment system. Bottom line is that this stuff works to clear up acne at a fraction of the cost of the brand name version. It is equally effective. Other reviews mention it burning the skin; I have very sensitive and dry skin and had no such adverse reaction. In fact, I’ve found it to be calming and moisturizing on my skin. The only drawback is that it does discolor towels, pillow cases and clothing. I notice it mostly on towels and also sleep shirts. I suppose this is because I sweat a little at night. I’ve used the bigger, brand name benzoyl peroxide system and didn’t experience the bleaching effect on clothing to this degree, although I believe you’ll always experience somewhat with benzoyl peroxide. So in all honesty, it comes down to a personal cost/benefit analysis… if having clear skin at an affordable price is more important than discoloring some clothes and towels, this stuff is worth it.

I have been using Proactiv for years...like going on 15. I'm glad to finally find a cost effective alternative! You might want to add in a creamy moisturizer because it does dry out your skin a bit, or try using every other day. I just use the toner and the treatment, and they have kept my skin clear of acne!

I’m 41 and have been using this for years! Don’t let the price throw you, it keeps your skin clear and clean keeping breakouts at bay. I use the face wash every other day in the shower to prevent dry skin, but use the toner and lotion every night before bed. It will bleach any of your towels/sheets that your face comes in contact with, so be sure you have white linens.
