Bought this last but didn't manage to use the gel until today. This gel is really weird. It has an incredibly watery consistency and has the weirdest smell. It doesn't smell like aloe vera, it smells like dusty silicone lube. It's a weird almost chemical smell. I was extremely confused when I squeezed some out of the tube and was hit in the face with that smell. One perk is that it soaks in fairly quickly, and doesn't leave my skin super sticky. It does take some of the heat away, but my sunburn is fairly mild, so I don't know how well it would work with a harsher burn. This is so weird because Alba Bontica's sunscreen is my go-to favorite. Yet this aloe vera gel is kind of bad. Weird.

Make sure if you buy this that you have some other pump container you can put this into. These crimp style squeeze bottles are the worst, they always fail eventually. I like this stuff. Comes out chunky but spreads nice and absorbs fast, reminds me of some moisturizing gel I had years ago. It can be a bit tacky after drying. You can try to wet your hands slighty and spread it again after it's fully dry, or just use it at night.

This product saved me after getting DANGEROUSLY burnt at the beach one day. I was bed ridden and couldn't even NOT move for at least a month. It soothed and hydrated me so much and took care of scarring. It was really bad, but this product saved my skin! I SO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This product does wonders to help with sun overexposure. It is 98% aloe vera gel, which is great, and does not contain any harmful chemicals, parabens etc. It is a gel that feels fresh on the skin, applies smoothly (very important if you're sunburnt!) and absorbs quickly.

I use it after I shower and then later on, I apply a moisturizer. It's more liquid than gel but it's ok to me, to make it into a gel they would need to put additional ingredients and it wouldn't be as natural as it's now. So I really appreciate it. It does has a smell but after it's applied on the skin you cant feel it and I am very sensitive to smells, odors. The smell its just from the plant. Highly recommended.
