Q: Does Alexa eaves drop on the user or can other parties access to use as a listening device
A: Hi Jeff, thanks for reaching out about Amazon Fire TV Stick with 4K Ultra HD Streaming Media Player and Alexa Voice Remote (2023). The remote has a button you can press when wanting to use voice commands. Alexa can be set to listen for it's wake word (usually "Alexa" but can be changed) and that's when it begins listening a command. Some devices such as an Echo Dot have the ability to let you "Drop In" to devices to listen from it live if you are signed in to your same Amazon account on the device and the Alexa app in the phone. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Can the fire stick be used if you have dish network
A: Hi Amy! You can definitely use a Fire TV Stick 4K to access DISH Network content from the internet, they even have a whole page dedicated to it on their website. Here's a quote from DISH Network "With the DISH Anywhere app on the Amazon Fire TV Stick, you can bring your favorite live, recorded, and On Demand content with you wherever you go, like your hotel room or cabin!" You'll still need to connect your Fire TV Stick to WiFi in order to access the internet, download the DISH Anywhere app, and login with your account. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
