Yes, as Apple has stopped providing adapters. We do have adapters in stock from different brands online or at a local Target store! Apple replaced my units twice within two years due to a manufacturing defect they were aware of with the originals. Unfortunately, they would only replace them with refurbished AirPods from the same defective pool so you’d always have the same problem crop up eventually. The only way to get more recently manufactured ones without the defect was to sign up for AppleCare which we weren’t willing to do as a year’s worth of payments would have bought a new pair anyway. Flawless connectivity with other Apple products and great sound quality.

audible screeching noise, hearing damage?

Awful. made an audible screeching noise this morning (out of my ears) on 50% volume thats given me physical pain in my ear drums & a loud ringing all day. Decent experience up until this very point, but why are my airpods screeching loud enough I can hear it across the room, but not the usual trap snares I can hear across the room? trap snares are notoriously audible. i dont care to solve this, would simply say just dont buy these ones. for context: was listening to my usual poor taste in trap music to get the day going, getting ready and everything. all the sudden, super loud screeching noise, ear drums hurt, so i rip them out of my ears and cuff them in my hand simply because i thought i was overstimulated. few seconds later, i hear this awful screeching noise coming from my hands, thought i was just crazy so i was like okay. lets pause the music, and take a breather. came to the theory: maybe it has to do with pressurization of some sort. so i go ahead, turn the music on, cuff them in my hands, sure enough i hear the sound again and throw them at the wall because i was like what? theres no way. tried once more, happened once more. not quite exactly sure what caused it, and definitely couldn't make a return at this point even if i wanted to. pretty much everything was good enough about these otherwise. none of the pressing on the airpods features ever seemed to work though, always had to manually skip music.

After having them for a little over a year, they stopped working and will not pair. This is not my first time having a problem with the concept of airpods both pros and not pros. They seem to last a year and then once you are slightly past warranty they will charge you full price to get them fixed. I recommend sticking with beats or bose since they seem to last longer.
