Legal for Apple Watch Series 3
Apple Watch Series 3 requires an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14 or later.
¹Irregular rhythm notification requires the latest versions of watchOS and iOS. It is not intended for use by people under 22 years old or those who have been previously diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (Afib).
²Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS + Cellular) and Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular) can use a cellular connection for Emergency SOS. To use Emergency SOS on an Apple Watch without cellular, your iPhone needs to be nearby. If your iPhone isn’t nearby, your Apple Watch needs to be connected to a known Wi-Fi network and you must set up Wi-Fi Calling.
³Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch SE, and Apple Watch Series 3 have a water resistance rating of 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing, or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth. Series 7 is also rated IP6X dust resistant.

Q: What’s the difference between the Apple Watch 3 GPS for $329 and the one for $399
A: The $329 one does not have cellular capabilities. You need your phone with you to be able to send and receive calls. The $399 one you can send and receive calls without your hooks being in range. It’s like an actual phone on your wrist without having your actual phone with you.

Q: Is this watch compatible with an iPhone SE?
A: Apple Watch Series 3 requires an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 or later. If you have a 1st get iPhone SE then no it will not. If you have the 2nd get iPhone SE then yes it will. There were two models of iPhone SE so you will need to know which you have to know if it will work with this Apple Watch. Go into your iPhone's settings, find the model number in general settings and search that model number online. That will tell you what model you have.

Q: Which apple series has the ecg monitoring without paying for the app. The cheapest with the above feature
A: The Apple 3 (and SE) doesn't have the sensor you need to touch. Per Apple-- "When you place your finger on the Digital Crown, it creates a closed circuit between your heart and both arms, capturing the electrical impulses across your chest. Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5, Series 6, or Series 7* also have built-in electrodes in the Digital Crown and the back of Apple Watch, which can measure the electrical signals across your heart when used with the Heart Rate app or the ECG app."
