  • A: If the laptop will no longer boot up or it's just black screen, please do the following. Verify if the AC adapter is connected properly from the laptop to a known good power outlet or AC source. Try another power source. Try to press and hold down the power button to shut it down completely, just in case laptop is not in hibernate mode, wait for at least 10 seconds then power on. Please wait, if the system is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.

This laptop works for what exactly what I need. I swapped out S mode and purchased this primarly for school. It is fast everything is stored by usb or on the cloud. Overall, definitely recommend. Oh, make sure your fingers have no oil the Matt finish holds oil prints but easily cleanable.

I bought this laptop with the intentions of expanding the RAM as I am a graduate student and attend classes online. So far the laptop does everything I need it to do but in the description it is listed as having a 4GB DDR RAM but it is actually a SSD RAM, meaning the RAM is built directly into the hard drive and can’t be expanded (for those that are not computer savvy). Had I known this I would’ve gone with a different laptop. It doesn’t necessarily make this laptop bad but I would have chosen different had the description been accurate.

Screen broke almost instantly. Gifted this for Christmas and it had been using it. The screen just died after the slightest amount of pressure had been applied to the screen while opening the screen.

Slow down load and write speeds. Resolution outdated. Tried using as an only work laptop but it fails at that. Freezing and shut downs to restarts would happen. I’ll be using 360 office and it’ll just reboot itself

Screen keeps going black

I attempted to use the laptop for gaming. I download mods and custom content etc. before I even downloaded anything there kept being a black rectangle on the right side of my screen that only went away if I locked and unlocked the laptop. Secondly twice today I was in the middle of playing a game and the screen went dark but the backlight was still on and I could still hear audio. I had to restart the laptop to get the screen back to normal and this second time I’m just messing with it to see if there’s any other way around it. The computer was nowhere near a dead battery. I’m going to have to return the darn thing because I can’t keep having this happen out the blue. Luckily I saved my game about 10 mins before this happened….
