I almost did not order this sunscreen based on the poor reviews here, but I've had good luck with this company. First off, there was no "snowman" effect - no powder residue and very little if any white cast, which is not the case for most mineral sunscreens. I am a medium toned Asian. It absorbs and dries quickly, is non-greasy, and feels clean on the skin. Secondly, I feared an overwhelmingly obnoxious odor. To me, the scent was pleasant, not too strong, and faded away fairly quickly. That said, I would prefer unscented, but this is not a deal breaker. So I rate it 4.5 stars and I would purchase it again. I have spent a fortune on sunscreens and this one gives you a generous amount for the price.

I came across this product ( Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Mineral lotion (147ml)) while on the Royal Carribean cruise (Quantum of the Seas) and I purchased 3 tubes. I wished I had purchased more because I love this product so much. It is such an excellent product, gives you total coverage and such a nice sheen and very gentle on the skin. Also, it is friendly to the environment. I live in Singapore and would like to purchase this product again. I hope Australian Gold will make this product available in Singapore. Please can you let me know where I can buy this product from in Singapore. Thank you very much. This product ranks above all other brands of sunscreen product I have used. I want to be able to continue using this product and hope it is available in Singapore.

I adore the botanical face tinted sunscreen line so was excited to try a body sunscreen with a similar dry feel but the scent it awful. Way too strong to even co side using. If I want to smell like something I will buy perfume! Stop putting annoying fragrances in everything else. I’d be a lifelong customer if this was unscented.

This is my favorite sunscreen. I use the SPF 50 version. The ingredient list is great, it uses physical mineral coverage, and the finish is soft and comfortable. I use it daily for my face and body. There is a touch of a white cast to it, but I offset it with a bit of tinted primer or pink highlighter blended in.

I didn’t get burned with the sunscreen and it smells great, but the white cast is pretty bad. I have a medium skin tone in the summer after all my outdoor activities and this sunscreen turned me gray. I tried to reapply and it looked worse. Although it is water resistant, going in the water makes the sunscreen’s white cast worse than usual. Also, it doesn’t spread as well when you reapply. I’m nowhere near finished with it, but I’m just tossing it and never looking back.
The only sun screen that stays on my horse!

I'm so happy to see that Australian Gold makes mineral sunscreen. It's better for our skin and the environment, so this is a winner in our household. It takes a bit of rubbing in if you don't want to see white streaks, but that is common with mineral sunscreens. It smells good too, so a definite win-win in my book.

Cons: it will get on your swimsuit/clothes and leave a faint white mark. Better to put on carefully. Also it will leave a slight white hue to your skin, if you rub it in its not so noticeable, but that is preferable to a painful burn! The scent i found was light, not overpowering at all, even my husband used it after he got badly burned using the spray sunscreen.

The finish and feel of this sunscreen is amazing, it is completely matte which is impressive since I have extremely oily skin. However, the scent makes this completely unwearable. It smells like a toilet cleaner and is extremely strong, the scent barely dissipates even after hours of wear. I'm normally not sensitive to scents but this one gave me a headache and I felt nauseous while wearing it. Even though the finish is so great, I can't recommend this product purely because the smell is so offensive. I don't understand why they would give this sunscreen fragrance when they're able to make their tinted sunscreens fragrance free. Without the smell I would give it a 5/5 but the scent alone is so bad I'm only giving a 2/5.
