Shake well. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours. Sun protection measures. Spending time in the sun increases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun especially from: 10 am - 2 pm; wearing long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.Children Under 6 Months

A: Our Body sunscreens can absolutely be used on the face however our body lotions will feel a little bit thicker than our face formulas, while our face sunscreens are formulated to apply much more sheer and lightweight. As with all skincare products, we suggest doing a small patch test for any sensitivities prior to use.

This leaves a white cast unfortunately so if you have skin that any darker than a medium shade it may not be for you. Despite the cast, it definitely works well - kept me from getting sunburnt after several hours in direct sunlight, but just couldn't stand looking ashy and gray with this so I will have to keep looking for a clean, no white cast mineral sunscreen.

I used this for a Caribbean cruise during the winter. I am very fair skinned and burn easily. This worked great for me. I didn't burn at all as long as I re-applied every hour or so. It absolutely performed better for me than the more traditional spray-on sunscreen. It blended as well as any other kinds of lotion for me. The smell was fine and I'm usually pretty sensitive to smells. For comparison I had my husband try a different brand of mineral sunscreen and I thought it smelled awful even though it was labeled "unscented".

The sunscreen goes on very dry and is hard to spread unless you already have lotion on. Even with lotion already on it makes your skin blue/purple. I am a person of color and it just doesn’t look nice having a blue/purple tint over your skin. It smells great and I like the idea of the brand however it just doesn’t work well for an everyday sunscreen. This is better for the beach where you may not care if you have a blue/purple color to your skin.

This sunscreen smells so strong it is unbearable. I had to take it off immediately. The scent was stuck in my nose all day and I got a headache. It had a mild white cast that could be blended out but the scent was horrible. I returned it and will never repurchase.

My partner and I applied this sunscreen as directed- even leaving a white layer on our skin because it does not rub in. WE STILL BURNED. Every area of our body exposed to the sun and covered by this "sunscreen" burned. We even went home after the beach and had to scrub off the white layer of sunscreen that covered our completely burned skin. It is honestly as though we did not put any sunscreen on at all. I cannot emphasize enough, if you want a product that protects your skin from the sun, THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT FOR YOU.
