Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

Height

Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.
Chest

Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.
Waist

With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.
Hip

Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.
Inseam

Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is the perfect thickness for the fall weather. We sized up to 10-12 so larger on as she would typically be a 9. Would look great with pattern shirts or characters shirts underneath! The sleeves are a bit long but can be rolled up. Would look great with some jeans. I don't like how hard the buttons are for a kid to button and unbutton but that comes with all button tops. The Jean is soft and comfortable.

This is a large and fit a little big on my son, but, he is between a Medium and Large now. The buttons were a little tricky and were not the easiest for him to button on his own. The overall length was a little long, but the sleeves fit well. This would have been great if he wasn’t between sizes. I received an incentive to write this review.

This is the best size for him with room to grow and you can also wear it as a light jacket. This is very trendy. I like the lightweight sweatshirt hoodie. I think this is a great layering piece. She typically wears a size 12 and well the 1012 fits I think I would have sized app. Seems to fit more like a 10 than a 12. She loved the style and would definitely wear it to school or out. The fabric was rather thin though, so I don’t know if I would really consider it a jacket to be used for protection against cold weather. I received an incentive to write this review.

It is a nice blue color and seems to be well made. The light gray hood is the perfect touch. It is lightweight, definitely more of a shirt than a jacket. This is absolutely adorable!! The perfect fall piece for layering, wearing open like a shaket, or closed for that classic look. I’d say it runs a bit generous size-wise, but that’s stylistically on point for this look. Got for my younger son, and as soon as my older son saw it he said he needed one too. Get it; you won’t be sorry!

The material is pretty thin, so it would work well for a long sleeve shirt in slightly cool weather, but is way too thin to replace a jacket. It's a nice fall very lightweight denim! It is very stylish and I will try again with a smaller size to see if it fits better. I do not like how thin the material is as I have a very active big who spends a lot of time outdoors and am concerns about easy rips and tears.

This jacket is great for everyday use. It is sturdy, warm enough for temperate weather and thick enough to keep warm or dry in minor rain. The style is great with mostly denim and cotton cloth for the hoodie potion. Buttons are used to close the front side and my son says it was very comfy to wear. If there was an adult size, I would wear it as well! The hoodie is durable, and I foresee it lasting through the roughest play times and easy enough to wash. The jacket is a little larger than the sizing chart might suggest but I will take a little larger over a little small any day.
