Q: Why do they put zinc oxide, which blocks UV, in a product meant for the night time..when there is significantly less sun?

I have been buying this night cream for years and loved it, but unfortunately didn't realize they had changed the formula until I just restocked. The old one was so light and smooth, but the new one is sticky, heavy, and thick. I don't use a lot, just enough to cover my face, but now any amount feels uncomfortable. I guess I will finish off the two I just bought unless they give me bad reactions like all the other reviewers. But I will no longer be purchasing this or recommending it to friends, and I will be searching for an alternative. Really sad to lose this product, and I hope they don't mess up the formulations of the other sensitive skin line products.

I previously bought this lotion to use during pregnancy and nursing so as to reduce the risks of substances such as bet-hydroxy, and I enjoyed using it. I switched for a bit to try something else, and recently switched back. After using it for 2 days, I am done. The new formulation leaves my skin feeling waxy and gave me acne, which I rarely ever get in recent years, within the first day of use. Buying this was a waste of money and totally disappointing.

This product is not only hard to use but has a very strong chemical scent that is unbearable. Impossible to spread and leaves a nasty residue on your face. The last few nights I’ve used it, I’ve woken up with horrible break outs and my skin is very itchy. Would never recommend.

I see all the bad reviews but so far I love it, but I have never used the old version. I have oily skin but lately my cheeks are dry, red and irritated. I only buy fragrance free and wanted in a glass jar to limit plastic. I use the daytime sensitive spf30 lotion and like it so I tried this. It definitely helped my cheeks, especially redness. Everyone was complaining about the smell. I actually love the smell and consistency! Doesn't feel too heavy or greasy. Maybe a little sticky at first but then dries. It doesn't have silcones so it doesn't give you that fake super smooth feel. Im not against silicones but my face doesn't like it in my moisturizer so I'm glad it doesn't have any. I guess everyone just has to try it for themselves.

Thank you for this healing face cream. I've recently had some problem with my face being more dry, sensitive and irritated recently and decided to try this. Within two nights of using this my face feels soft, moisturized, less irritated and the redness is reduced. It looks visibly smoother and healthier. I'm sticking with this story nightly routine. I plan to buy more of this specific face cream. Very grateful to your staff that created this product.

Have been purchasing this moisturizer for yrs. They changed the formula sometime last yr 2022. It's thick, has a strange odor and I'm pretty sure it broke me out. I'm acne prone so I try be careful with what I use. A few weeks into using the new formula I started getting these strange deep pimples, not my usual acne. They should be ashamed to say this new formula is safe for sensitive skin.

I have used this product before but the product I received is completely different with a waxy feel that caused my skin to break out! Product was either old or Burt Bee's change the product. Very disappointed! Returned the product for refund!

I have used the night cream for years with no problem. I started using the new cream and my face has broken out to a rash- I am seeing a dermatologist tomorrow. Very sad to have to change. I hope they bring back the original formula.

This was my go to cream for years. I just bought a new jar and applied it to my damp face. It’s unbelievably sticky and makes my face feel tight. I am sad by this change. It’s hard to find a moisturizer for sensitive skin.

I purchased this last month and loved it so much that I was using it night AND day. What I didn't realize is that my pharmacy must have had old stock on the shelves, because when I went to repurchase, it had a new name and a new formula. I'm not the type to immediately get upset when a product formula changes. I like to give things a fair chance. But this was a disaster from jump. Immediately, I saw that the consistency had changed for the worst. It's a waxy, almost hard consistency now. It was difficult to spread across my face, and left a residue that wouldn't absorb into my skin. I realized then there was no way I could use this under makeup during the day, because there would be pilling. Still, it's a night cream, so I wasn't too fussed about that point. What I am fussed about is that after one use, I woke up with huge, hard, itchy bumps on my face. And I see from the other reviews that I'm not alone in having a reaction. It seems like the old formula was quite beloved, so it makes no sense to have changed it so completely that it's not even the same texture anymore, to say nothing of how it can no longer be trusted on truly sensitive skin. Please, bring the old formula back!

This lotion did tighten my skin but dried it out terribly and I started having a terrible reaction under and around my eyes to the point where I looked like I had been punched in my face. It has taken days for the swelling and redness to go down. I then got the serum thinking it would help and it made it even worse.

Was really excited for this product, but never got to use it. The container came over half empty and what was left in the container was hard and rubbery. Tried to contact them to get a replacement and got the run around. Two other products in my order came over half empty. Almost like someone used it then sent it out. They didn’t resolve the issue or replace the products. Will never order again.

Ever since is farted using this cream it made my face all red. I don’t know what is in this cream that can make my face all red since it supposedly all natural (?!) but it made my face really really red. It makes your skin really smooth, so that’s a plus, but trust me, you don’t want to go walking around looking like Elmo with smooth skin. I think it just depends on you skin type. My skin is sensitive so I thought this product would help because it’s for sensitive skin but I don’t think it works well for sensitive skin.
