I just summited Saddleback, a four thousand footer, in Maine. Even when kept on the outside pouch of my pack, in roughly ten degrees with a forty mph wind, water didn't freeze. Have not used it as a filter yet, but grateful to have a water source that I can access without opening and digging through my pack or worrying about frozen tubes.

Camelbak Chute mag is the best lid available for a water bottle, in my opinion. Easy to drink, even with ice, and easy to manage with the magnetic cap. The insulated bottle is great—it keeps liquids hot or cold for longer than I need it too. Camelbak has always been my first choice and they’ve never let me down.

This bottle is amazing! I've always owned and carried none-insulated bottles no larger than 24 oz. I found myself constantly refilling them and the water would get warm very quickly. I decided to up my bottle game and glad I did. The magnetic lid is thoughtfully designed and it even has a resting indention for your lip (it's the little things--really). I wasn't sure about the bright blue (Larkspur) color but I'm glad I bought it. The color is a bit more "calm" than it is in the photo. I bought the Eddy cap+straw lid just to have a different lid option but I've loved the chute mag lid so much I haven't even attempted to swap them. The 32 oz/1L bottle is a great size. Not too big, not too small.

I really loved this water bottle. I filled it up with ice in the morning, and it lasted me all day at work. But recently something happened with the seal and it has been leaking. I'm very sad because this is the only water bottle I've found for a decent price where the ice actually lasts all day. Dissapointing :(
