Not every day is wash day! Cantu's Complete Conditioning Co-Wash removes heavy product buildup to gently cleanse curls and scalps between shampoos. The Complete Conditioning Co-Wash infuses hair with a unique blend of 15 natural butters and essential oils, which condition hair and lock in moisture. This sulfate-free co-wash also uses the signature Cantu creamy shea butter formula that contains no mineral oil or harsh chemicals like parabens, silicones, phthalates, gluten, or propylene, making it the ideal daily cleanser that doesn't strip hair of its natural oils that produce shine. To use, wet hair completely and apply a generous amount of co-wash to the root and work toward the ends. Gently massage the scalp to remove buildup and penetrate moisture, and rinse thoroughly with cool water, which locks in moisture and gives hair the perfect amount of shine. Use as needed between shampoos. For best results, rinse hair with cool water and follow up with the Hydrating Cream Conditioner. For styling, style hair using Cantu's Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream or Cantu's Coconut Curling Cream.

This product helped me with: 1. My curly hair and keeping it moisturized 2. And helped me heal Sebborhic Dermatitis. I am 53yo. I have tried almost every imaginable shampoo and conditioner for my naturally curly hair. This journey has been long, frustrating and expensive. I decided to let my gray hair grow out naturally two years ago. I found that some products that say they have certain oils ended up stripping my hair of moisture. Then, over a year ago, I had driven to L.A. to spend time with my dying father, I had been staying over at my sisters house helping to take care of him until his passing. While I was there, I noticed that she had this shampoo made by Cantu. I tried it and LOVED it. Needless to say afterwards, when I returned home, I decided to buy myself the Cantu shampoo. Well, I couldn't find it, but did find the co-wash. So I decided to only use it when I needed moisturizing. Then, about a month ago, I noticed my scalp was super dry, silvery flakes that I could actually peel off! I was horrified and in stinging pain. I bought TGel and that made it all worse, I thought I was going to have to see a dermatologist. But then I remembered that I had the co-wash that I reserved for moisturizing between shampoos. So I tried it and the results were instant! My scalp looked normal, felt normal, and pain free!!! My hair is nicely moisturized. I should have been using it more often since I was using the heater due to the colder weather. I have decided to use this more often, so I highly recommend this product for moisture and keeping the curls in great shape and the scalp healthy. I am loving the Cantu products so far.
I was really hoping to enjoy this product since I use so many other things in the Cantu line for my curly hair. This cowash will definitely get your hair clean, but there is little to no slip for detangling hair and every time I use this I need to mix in a different conditioner to get knots out. Will probably be sticking to As I Am cowash instead.
I have medium length wavy-curly hair, and the reason I'm giving this a 3 is because it didn't quite work for me. I used this alone (no shampoo) on wash day, and my hair turned out well - not frizzy (although it is winter here in the midwest), but not particularly soft. I'm obsessed with having my hair curl from root-to-tip, which is a lot of work. All but a few strands at the crown did so. But the biggest let down is how greasy my hair was the 2nd day. I read about some hair not liking coconut products and producing this effect, which may be the reason this happened to mine. Having to spray on dry shampoo negates the good price that this is. I may try again during the summer months, but for the next 6 I won't be.
I have long, wavy hair that tends towards dryness at the ends. Was looking for something that would improve the wave & leave it nicely hydrated. This did none of that. It actually dried my hair out! I don't know how since it doesn't foam up or seem to cleanse at all. My hair felt brittle & crispy after. This is probably great for someone with limp, fine hair that tends to be oily. I don't see how it would work for anyone with curls or thick hair though. Not for me.
