Q: How many mg of calcium, can't find the info

A: 200 mg. The recommended dosage is two pills, for a total of 400 mg. I find them much easier to take than the "full-size" Citrical, and your body can absorb only 500 mg of calcium at a time anyway.

A: I measured 13mm x 10mm x 8mm (or approximately 0.5" x 0.4" x 0.3"). I think these pills have the same girth as the Citracal Maximum pills, but are shorter.

False labeling!! This pill is NOT petite. It's huge. I compared it to a Centrum Silver and it's about the same size (see picture, purple pill is the Centrum silver). I only purchased this version because the label said it was petite. No way. It's a large pill. I will see if I can return the bottle but since I had to open the bottle to see the pill size, not sure I will be able to return. So disgusted.

If you have to supplement with calcium, Citracal is an excellent choice. Calcium citrate is an highly absorbable source, the potency is reasonable and the tablet size makes swallowing easy.

I bought the original Citracal believing it was calcium citrate due to the name. After lots of digestive problems I discovered it was mostly calcium carbonate! I found this, which is in fact calcium citrate. However, digestive issues have not improved. These are smaller than the others but not by much, and they're 200mg calcium instead of 600mg, so you have to take more pills. But at least I don't choke on them.

I like these vitamins because they are lower dose, hence the name petite. I really wish people would educate themselves on things before leaving reviews that are not accurate. These vitamins are stated as petite NOT because of SIZE, but of potency! Taking a few minutes to research would go a long way.
