Q: Do all three temperatures work on both speeds? I need high blowing capability with cold or warm air, not hot.

A: No, it does not. The "cool" setting is warm. So if you want the air to actually feel cool you have to press -and HOLD- the cold shot button. It's a pain. I am returning it for this very reason. I have very fine, thin hair and need a dryer that actually blows cool air without my thumb getting so fatigued that I have to keep pausing and resting my hand just to get my hair dry.

I have owned Conair hairdryers for years and loved every one of them with the exception of this one. It is very aesthetically pleasing but my hair has never been so frizzy after drying than with this one. It also takes much more time to dry than my previous dryers. The cord is so short I either have to crouch down to use it or get an extension cord. Extremely disappointed especially based on previous experience with Conair.

The white finish on this hair dryer flakes off and sticks to everything including hair. Now returning. I purchased this model maybe five years; it was great. Gave it to a friend since I was moving cross country - one less thing to pack. I purchased this model again a month ago. Two weeks in the finish began flaking off. Conair must have cheapened production within that time span.

My goal was to find a quality affordable blow dryer. I bought this one because it’s Conair and it had cute colors. After using it for about 1 month, the white paint started to flake off. Sometimes it gets into my hair and it looks like dandruff. It also takes a long time to dry my hair - and my hair is thin. I would strongly recommend not purchasing this product.

Paint chips. I am returning the blow dryer for this reason. I don’t want paint on my hair nor on my hands. Also, it’s not strong enough for thick hair. I can only imagine using this on long, thick hair – mine is (guy) short and it still takes longer than I’d like to finish blow drying.
