A: 12" wide is the max.

Q: does this require mats for the materials?
A: Hello, thank you for your question! The Explore 3 machine can only cut Smart materials without a mat, other materials can be used on a mat if they are not clearly labeled as "Smart" material. For a list of materials usable in the machine please check out our Cricut Help page!
