A: Thank you for your question. This item has built-in time lets you set the cooking time from 30 minutes to 20 hours on high or low temperature setting; automatically switches to warm setting to keep food at a constant temp when timer goes off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for a Christmas gift and used it twice. It does does get the food hot enough to cook it. I have to take the food out and cook it in my stove, which defeats the purpose. I’ve used Crockpot products for years. This is my third. So disappointed.

I have had Crockpot brands for years. received this for Xmas and almost burnt the first meal. I noticed when turned on low it boiled my beef stroganoff. Thought would try again- made beef stew and it boiled on the low so switched to warm feature and still boiled. So tried today for the third time- made Beef stroganoff again- set it on low and within 1 1/2 hours the edges were boiling. So turned it to warm and continued to boil for over an hour. Had to turn it off and transfer to a traditional pot so wouldn't destroy the meal. Very different than first one I bought.Very disappointed in this version.

I purchased this crockpot model to replace a similar one I had for years. I had to replace it because the ceramic pot cracked in half in the older one. I specifically searched for one exactly the same because it was the perfect size for smaller meals and I like the “ keeping warm” feature. I have been using Crockpot for almost 40 years. Unfortunately this newer version does not live up to it’s predecessor. Low setting gets too hot and cooks food too quickly and actually reaches a low boil. Not the low slow simmer I was used to. Another minor complaint is that the lid has the handle screwed to it and after running it through the dishwasher I actually must remove the handle from the lid to dry up the water that gets retained between the handle and glass lid. I’m managing but I miss my “old” crockpot!
