Q: On the split 2.5qt crock insert, are both sides 2.5qt making it 5 qt total or is each side 1.25qts 2.5qts total?

A: No. I was bummed about this. It is 1.25 on each side. Was hoping for a 5 split (2.5 each side). If they made one id happily buy as my wife us vegan and im not so we could cook soup at same time and have meat in mine.

Q: The description says large meals in the 6 quart and dips and appetizers in the split crock. I am hoping to crock pot chicken breast 2 different ways in the the split crock. Will that work? Thank you

As long as the recipes require the same temperature and cooking time then there should be no problem for you to use the split crock the way you proposed. But please make sure that there will be just enough water or sauce (at least half a cup) in both sections so the food does not burn/overcook and not too much to avoid overflowing during cooking or mixing the two different sauces/spices. Q: I was very disappointed this Crock Pot has only 3 feet and is very tippy. Do you have any Crock Pots this size that have a solid base? Or are they all tripods now to use at your own risk?

Q: Can this crock pot be used to cook at the bottom and the divided crock at the same time? If not, and I wanted to try and cook both at the same time, is it possible that they would all cook together if extra time was allowed?

Q: Your photo of the Crock-Pot shows the small crock sitting inside the large crock. Do we keep both of them in the frame when using either one, or do we remove the unneeded one?

Q: About the hinged lid: Can we remove the hinge just one time and then it's permanently removed, or do we have to remove it and then re-attach it every time we use the cooker?

I spent a lot of time trying to find a crock pot. I loved my old one, but I broke the lid and couldn't find a replacement. I basically wanted something reliable and sturdy with the timer features this one had. I couldn't find a sturdy crock pot. They all seem to only have tripod feet now. So I settled on this one because it had the features I wanted. I used the crock pot about twice. Third time I plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. It's past the return window, so this is a waste of money. I would definitely not recommend!!!

Non-Stick Coating Scrapes Off

Purchased in December 2021, lasted a year and a half (it’s June 2023). The nonstick coating is coming off. I feel like I had my last crockpot for years before it cracked, so I’m disappointed I got less than 2 years with this newer one. Things are made so much cheaper today!

The last Crock-Pot we had lasted 12 years. We bought this one last year to replace that one and it died on us tonight during a pot roast. Had to throw my whole dinner out and now I have no dinner and no working Crock-Pot. Complete crock and I won’t be buying one from you guys again. Your warranty is garbage and so are your slo cookers.

I have had this crock pot for a year and it worked great for the first few months and then the control to turn on how many hours it would go didn't work. Now a few months later I can turn it on but it doesn't get warm and I can't switch the mode to low or high to get it to go. It broke in less than a year which is very disappointing for the price.

Previously owned similar model with 3 inserts. Large one broke so bought this model. The lid fits better than on previous model but that is the only good thing. Cooked a recipe I have cooked at least 10 times in the previous model. Meat was not done, wasn't brown, sauce was like water. Horrible experience. Will be returning soon.

I had a roast and vegetables in my crock pot as I have done.dozens of times. It had been cooking about 2.5 hours. I was at the sink and heard an explosion. The lid had blown up and glass was on the counter, foor and in the pot with the food. I looked and am finding there replacement is no longer available. Not happy and need a solution.

This crockpot cooked everything perfect. I have made several different meals using different meats and they all come out perfect. i used both inserts once and still worked great. Having a timer helps out and it keeps everything warm till you are ready to eat.

The lid didn’t fit the 5qrt divided crock. The 5 quart divided crock doesn’t fit well in the medal warming device. There was space causing it to be tippy.

If you run your fingernail over the surface of the stoneware and it does not catch on any of the cracks, the cracks do not go all the way through and are just spider cracks. Spider cracks are a minor defect in the outermost layer of the glaze on the stoneware. They are not considered a safety issue and will not progress into full cracks causing any safety hazards. i have to be honest, i don't use crock pots, owned one 20 years ago and it didn't work. this was a test of usefulness and holiday meal hope. the first use was perfect. 3 hours and i had perfect potato soup. this was not a repeatable result. the next use was over 4 hours on high and the potatoes hadn't cooked through. i don't know what was happening. I did not change anything but it didn't work. so Thanksgiving is going to be iffy!
