Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Baby Bottles feature an innovative, fully-vented design that enhances baby’s feeding experience while reducing feeding problems. With a patented 2-piece internal vent system that creates positive-pressure flow, Dr. Brown’s bottles eliminate air bubbles in formula or milk and help to reduce colic, spit-up, burping and gas. This system is also proven to help preserve bottle milk nutrients, including vitamins C, A, and E, which are critical for infant health. By creating a vacuum-free, fully vented bottle, Dr. Brown’s offers baby an easy digestion feeding experience that is closer to breastfeeding than any other bottle. The patented vent system and silicone nipple also work together to create a controlled flow so babies nurse at their own pace. Dr. Brown's bottles are BPA, PVC, lead and phthalate free for your baby's safety. This Bottle Set comes with 3 Standard bottles and 1 cleaning brush.
I started using these bottles in 2014 with my first born. I really liked them since they helped with spit up and due to the venting system it reduces the amount of air that goes in the bottle- therefore it helps so the baby doesn’t get so gassy or colicky. We decided to try them again in 2019 with our second baby, and it has been a nightmare! The bottles leak everywhere- we have purchased both the blue and green ones and they all leak making the bottles a huge mess when feeding. I also never realized how time consuming it is to wash all the parts, I guess with two kids now I don’t have the time to be hassling through all the bottle parts and wash them. We have decided to switch to the Philips Avent bottles and those have been amazing, plus my baby latches on better and feedings go smoother!
These would leak at the beginning of us using them until we figured out what was causing it to leak. Basically, we would keep our formula containers in the fridge and we'd pour it into these Dr. Brown bottles and then microwave the formula for about 15 seconds. Afterward, we'd attack the tube and cap and begin feeding our son. Soon after we'd notice it would leak incessantly. So once we stopped microwaving the milk, the bottle would not leak. I'm not sure what it was, but for some reason, it would not leak at all when we moved to the powdered formula and simply use room temperature water. Otherwise these bottles were great.
[I'm writing honest reviews of all the items I've purchased at Target to hopefully be invited to review products through their "Hey, Bullseye" committee.]
I have the blue and the greent Dr. Brown bottles. It ieaks even with a tight seal. I removed the vent, the peak reduced, but the nipples created a vacuum that made it difficult for the baby to feed properly.
I dont mind cleaning, but there are too many parts to clean.
