beans had to be at least a bazillion years old. I soaked them for 6 hours and it took at least 5 hours for them to cook. something is not right about these beans. and I wouldn't say they taste that great, even now that they're fully cooked.

These beans are awful. I am constantly making beans and ham for my family. I rinsed these twice. I noted a strong smell of dirt. But thought maybe it’s because I’m pregnant. Flash boiled. And rinsed again. Then had them cooking all day. Dinner time comes- I go to serve the beans and taste to see if I needed to add anything. They taste like dirt. :( I had other members of the family all try them. Yuck.
