Must charge two of the same batteries when recharging

So I should have done more research on this product, but apparently you need to charge two of the same batteries at the same time for the charger to work. I bought this for a mouse…which only uses 1 battery at a time.

Can charge 4 AA or 4 AAA at a time

The target tech expert in the Q&A is incorrect in regards to the charger only being able to 2 AA and 2 AAA at a time. While this particular unit only comes with 2 AA and 2 AAA, it can charge 4 AAA or 4 AA at a time. It has lights to indicate charging levels and has been fairly quick with fully charging the batteries. I would recommend these for sure.

I bought this charger with 4 AAs just before a trip during which I took hundreds of pictures with a digital camera. The batteries held their charge well, and recharged quickly. Question: what is supposed to be the difference between "Ready for use" and "Charged"

WE bought the package with batteries + charger, very flaky performance. I have a head light diamond but when fully charged, these batteries only work for less than 5 minutes. Although it's says Green from the charger itself, the battery life didn't last. Quite disappointing!

Nice Charger - instructions are on review page!

Instructions are tiny, if you find them. Solid red light is when charging. Blinking red light is bad battery OR battery is already charged (you can put it in a flashlight and check it or you can use a battery tester). Blinking green means battery is 85% charged or more ("ready to use") and solid green light means fully charged (100%). The smaller AAA batteries are put in slightly differently from the larger AA batteries. If you put the AAA in the charger by placing the flat side (negative end) onto the lower clips first, then drop the top (+) into the charger while pulling against the clip just a bit, it works. (I have seen reviews on another site where the user could not insert the AAA size properly). On the larger AA batteries, I place the top (+ side) into the charger first and slide the bottom into the charger. Not hard once you do it. If you can't put the battery into the charger, you might need to stop buying items like this. If you want the speed charge option, you just put two batteries in the charger instead of using all 4 slots (use one side of the charger). If no lights come on, the battery is not inserted properly and might just need to be rolled into the slot better to make good contact.

This is a great charger but I could net read ther instructions on the reverse of the packaging. Way too small. Needed a magnifying glass. Had to go to the web site to print the instructions.

Battery technology is terrific and finally battery chargers have caught up. This charger is amazing. Charges batteries up in no time at all. I would highly recommend this product. I can now see that I will save a lot of money on batteries as I will simply put them in the charger for a few minutes instead of buying a new carton of batteries. You won't believe how fast it is until you get used to it.

I have 2 of these (so I don't have to fight my son for it) And use rechargeable batteries in many places. Just be aware: a blinking red light doesn't necessarily mean a bad battery. It could also mean you put a charged battery in!

Several problems with this product. First, Duracell is a major company, and the batteries appear high-quality, so I had high expectations for this product. I also liked that it appeared compact. (And thought it could charge in the compact, folded mode.) However, after opening the product, the plastic appears flimsy and easy to break. And it must be unfolded open to use. The instructions are very annoying. Tiny print, almost impossible to read. And the instructions don't make any sense in terms of defining the Green LED lights. They say that if the lights are solid green, the batteries are "charged", and that if they are blinking green, the batteries are "ready to use." What's the difference? Finally, the AAA batteries don't appear to seat very securely into the charger, and it's not clear when they're properly lined up.

This is great if you just need to recharger AA and AAA batteries. They sell other size rechargeable batteries, but they don't sell the chargers for them.

I like that you receive two different size batteries two AA and two AAA - but I realized I should probably check the charge on the batteries before I use them, because they may not be fully charged.

Not Holding Charge

I have 24 Duracell AA rechargeable batteries and three e1000 chargers. I accept the long period of time the batteries take to charge and the confusing "flashing light" displays, but just leave them in and eventually I get the solid green lights supposedly showing a full charge. However, when I then put the batteries into my trail cameras, they are only showing between 50-60% charge. I expected better than this of Duracell batteries, especially as they have probably only been charged two or three times.

Green light blinking - battery is charging. Wait Green light still - battery is full. Red light blinking - 2 options: error - check if battery is correctly in, try rotating and moving them around a bit, or WAIT A BIT. Or something's broke. Red light still - Something's broke. Maybe batteries, maybe charger. You Are WELCOME
