The lamp is topped off with a 17" diameter and 15" tall drum shade made of light gray and white textured fabric to softly distill the light from a 100W bulb (not included). Operated by a 3-way rotary switch located on the socket, the lighting level can be easily changed between low, medium, high, and off when using a 3-way bulb. When using a regular bulb, the rotary switch turns the lamp on or off. The Elton floor lamp is also available with a walnut finish on the geometric design and a coordinating light beige textured fabric shade.
