Hatchimals Alive! Family Surprise

My 3 year old granddaughter loves these little Hatchimals. She loves watching them hatch by watering them. I think since Easter I have bought every Hatchimal Alive that there is available.

Not that appealing after the hatch.

Perfect little gift for my 5 and 7 yo girls Easter! They were so tickled opening them up!

Characters are cute, everything about this product was good!

Super cute and easy to do! Kids loved it and it was a great stocking stuffer. I wish the whole egg part would come off since my kids like to keep the base, but that is just a personal preference. Got this on sale, so it was even better price point.

Thought it was bigger

Our daughter was really disappointed. It's just too expensive for what it is.

We've bought Hatchimals from most of the various series, especially the more recent ones- Wilder Wings, Rainbow-Cation etc and so far these fit nicely with the general theme created. This is only based on the 4 individual eggs, purchased during the last Target trip. The size (individual small hatchlings) allows for compatibility w/past playsets which is also nice. Our two year old is too young to enjoy the concept (and to play with the small toy alone) but 4 and 5 year olds can enjoy the toy and the hathing process. *TIP- the bottle fills easiest with a cup of water vs trying to squeeze under faucet; not a lot of H2O is needed to initiate the cracking process but each time we did have to give a tiny bit of help for the fledgling creatures. Each baby was adorable and the suprise element was what my daugther loved most. These toys are cute but should have more accessories as it only came with a hairchair and bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun toy to open! The water activated hatching is a neat idea, but can only do it once. Perhaps a larger play-set would be played with longer. This particular one was fun for a few minutes but has not been touched since, as there is not a lot to do with it.

My daughters 5 and 8 both love Hatchimals and were excited to check this new one out. The most exciting part was adding water and watching the eggs hatch. Once they hatched they were so excited to play and feed the baby hatchimals. Great surprise toy.

Her favourite part was feeding the eggs and watching them hatch. The playset is well-crafted and comes with some accessories. She has since has some enthusiastic play sessions and carefully store them by her bedside every night. Overall, I highly recommend the Hatchimals Alive Hungry Hatchimals Playset, I would just be careful not to have them around small children who like to put things in their mouth as there are tiny pieces to this toy such as the little pacifiers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this toy for free from butterly and spin master. My son loved feeding the egg and observing the egg hatch. He got little disappointed when he couldnt join the egg back but then continued with pretend play. Kept him busy for 25-30 minutes at a time. Good toy for toddlers. They learn to feed and take care of hatchimals and there is no end to imagination ply later on once the eggs have hatched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive never gotten one of these toys for my kids before but was excited as this package arrived literally as we were headed out on a plane for 2+ weeks! I packed this in my 5 years olds carryon. We opened it up on the plane not realizing that it needed water to hatch the eggs. He hatched one by hand and put the other one in water once we arrived to our destination. I am confused by the base of the egg, it doesnt have a purpose, its literally just plastic trash. Each of those egg bases must weigh a few ounces, and its literally plastic waste. Why? He played with these for 5 minutes and honestly I know he will never play with them ever again. Im going to donate them to a child who perhaps has more of these and can add to their collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Niece's(3 & 1/2 years old) very first "Hatchimals Alive Hungry Playset" and she absolutely loved it! We had a blast watching it hatch like a real egg when activated by water from the adorable sippy cup. This playset includes two colorful Hatchimals eggs(blue and pink) with two adorable characters, a sippy cup, two pacifiers(too tiny and hard to place so a little help was needed) and a rainbow cloud themed highchair. You can purchase additional sets like the "Hatch N Stroll Playset" and the "Hatchi-Nursery Playset" to expand the fun and pretend play. Some helping hands were required to remove the tiny pacifiers from the egg to access the hole and to fill the bottle with water. My Niece then independently squeezed the water into the egg as we all watched in excitement as it started to crack in seconds to unveil our two beautiful characters After that we just wanted to add more water to see if it'll crack even more but sadly no I can tell you our two little friends were thoroughly cleaned as they were submerged in a bowl of water and squirted with water(with baby bottle) in their highchair You'll be happy to know the broken plastic shell bits(soft not sharp) didn't go to waste either it was used to create steps and eventually confetti in the water lol. Hopefully she'll do some actual pretend play(by far her favourite thing to do) as our characters start out with bottle feeds and eventually grow to use the cute food/snack pull out tray To improve this toy I would recommend storing additional surprise accessories within the bottom portion of the egg so more water fun to fully crack it open. Lastly the pacifiers are too tiny for small hands to work with and i can see it getting lost pretty easily. Possibly making it slightly bigger would be workable and a strap or storage accessory to keep them from getting misplaced. Overall vibrant, exciting, surprising and beyond mini adorable. It's definitely stimulating for kids and encourages them to use their imagination like my beautiful Niece did. I can't wait to see her unique and unpredictable role playing next, it's honesty out of this world lol

Shes been playing with the hatchlings and their bottle for over an hour now lol Ps you will need a towel if inside ;)
