This Classic Pull Up Bar from Ignite by SPRI features a professional-grade sturdy heavy-gauge steel frame, with a multi-grip design that offers 8 grip positions for plenty of exercise variety. Q: Do I need to use screws to attach it to frame?

A: No, the pull up bar does not screw into a frame. The bar will rest on top of the door frame. All hardware needed to assemble the product will be included.

Q: My door is in a corner- the right side of the door is 1 inch from the wall. Can the horizontal beams be shortened to adjust to different spacing on each side of the door?

A: The bar in the middle cannot be shortened or adjusted. The Pull Up Bar fits most doorways up to 32 inches wide.

Q: How wide is the part with the logo? The part that will sit on the top of the doorframe. Will it work if the space between the doorframe and ceiling is only 1.5 inch?

A: The top piece with the logo is about 1 inch wide, so this pull up bar should work with a 1.5 inch gap between the doorframe and ceiling.

If you follow the instructions exactly, the screws do all fit. However this wasn't a great fit for my house because of the small size. It didn't fit on my usual workout door frame, and even in a smaller door frame it didn't provide enough clearance without almost smacking my face at the top of a chin up or pull up. It wasn't the most solid thing ever but seemed sturdy enough. This could be good if you have thin small molding maybe.

The bolts were not long enough and the whole design of the bolts are crappy, the locking nut was already crap and I had to go buy a new spring washer and locking nut. I wasted so much time thinking I was just dumb and couldn't put it together. This product is absolutely trash and target needs to stop selling this bs. It doesn't even hold the weight it says it would, I feel scared just testing it out. I do NOT recommend this product: waste of time & money and risk of safety. I'm only keeping it because I don't have my receipt & I'm not going through the whole refund "customer service" nonsense.

Does what it's supposed. No issues assembling it. The difference between the medium and long bolts isnt much so I'm guessing that's where people had issues.only fits on door frame in our house so it's be a good idea to measure first

This bar is great quality, easy to set up, and perfect if you want a pull-up bar in your room. I’ve had it for a few months now and despite frequent use it still holds up great. The only negative thing I could notice is that when you put your full weight on it, there is an audible squeaking sound from where the foam hits the door but it doesn’t take away from the quality.

I thought people just didn't know how to assemble things properly. Turns out, they were all right. Same problems as everyone else. First step assembling, one of the bolts were lose, could not get it free to tighten it, or just straight tighten it. As everyone else said, the screws are not long enough to complete assemble. As someone who's put together hundreds of peices of furniture, I can safely say this is one of the biggest jokes of a product I have ever purchased. Literally only 3 steps to assemble, and every step there is a problem and it is completely unusable. I'm not sure how Target continues to sell this scam of a product.

I usually don’t write reviews BUT this item is a waste of money and time. They gave me screws that were not the same in size as they were supposed to be, two small and two large as you see in the pictures. I realized the reviews are true. DO NOT BUY!!

Can’t even assemble it because the screws to attach the pull-up bar to the mount bar aren’t long enough. I saw another review just like this one so I know i’m not stupid😂

The only parts I received were the pull up parts but not the bolts, washers and other parts that should have came with it. I have no ways to put it together or for it to stay together.

I don't know why people are having such a difficult time assembling this product. If you read the directions, it's quite simple. It amazes me how dense y'all can be. For the price, it's decent. It's nothing fantastic, but it serves its purpose.

This item came in an unopened box. When I opened it, I noticed that even though the bars were bagged up, they were on the decidedly scuffed side. Then I discovered the kit was missing the medium screws needed to assemble it, and it had extra long screws (too big for the medium holes), and every _single_ spring washer in the kit was broken. What garbage. Will be returning tomorrow.
