Description
This Classic Pull Up Bar from Ignite by SPRI features a professional-grade sturdy heavy-gauge steel frame, with a multi-grip design that offers 8 grip positions for plenty of exercise variety. Ideal to build upper body arm and core strength quickly and easily with a variety of traditional pull-up bar exercises. The foam-covered handles are easy on the hands and will provide extra grip. The bar supports up to 250 pounds, fits most doorways up to 32 inches wide, and does not need to be mounted to any wall or frame. A: No, the pull up bar does not screw into a frame. The bar will rest on top of the door frame. All hardware needed to assemble the product will be included.

A: This pull up bar has padding in places where the bar comes into contact with the door frame to prevent leaving scuff marks and damage.

Q: How wide is the part with the logo? The part that will sit on the top of the doorframe. Will it work if the space between the doorframe and ceiling is only 1.5 inch?

A: The top piece with the logo is about 1 inch wide, so this pull up bar should work with a 1.5 inch gap between the doorframe and ceiling.

It's easy to assemble and use. However quality isn't good with paint peeling off right out of the box - see pic. Also was short of a washer - was supposed to come with 6 washers, but box had only 5.

The foam rubber doesn't remain attached to the tubing after a half dozen times using and must be glued or rubber cemented back to the tubing so your hands don't slip and you don't injure your wrists. Not a very good quality, will probably look for a better brand.

Great value for the price. It’s been pretty sturdy and is easy to hang/take off the door frame. Assembly was fairly simple and the pieces fit together fine, at least for me. The side handles will leave a black stain on the door frame after some use, but overall I’m super happy with my purchase!

for 15 bucks, it is a good value. I'll admit, you won't get the best quality for this product, but it works and gets the job done. there are definitely higher quality ones you can get but this one is great and cheap. for me, I need nothing more.

I have not used it but once to test out. I am writing because of assembly complaints. I had no issues. There are 6 screws: 2 long, 2 medium, and 2 hex screws. They must be installed in the proper holes. The medium screws cannot be inserted in the long screw inserts. Instructions were clear and easy to assemble. The 2 screws in the middle of the pull up handle is concerning. For the price and the fact my tiny 5th and 7th graders are using this bar makes for an ideal purchase.

The threading is not correct and the bolt got stuck while assembling. It’s completely unmovable. I tried using pliers and a wrench and it won’t budge. Can’t use it

Assembly impossible with screws/bolts/tools provided. Screws not long enough to assemble together. Due to screw schematics it is also impossible to tighten the 2 that do fit.

I received this as a Christmas gift and tried assembling twice. both times the bars were uneven. I measured the pieces and they were different lengths. I brought it back to exchange for another box and this one has the same issue. disappointing that it happened twice considering all the positive reviews.
