jack & annie's Frozen Crispy Jack Plant Based Chicken Nuggets - 10.1oz

Do you or your kiddo like nuggets from the Golden Arches (if you catch my drift)? These are the closest we’ve found to those outsides. Plus they are vegan.

The best vegetarian chicken nugget I’ve had so far. The jackfruit texture is believably meat-like, much better than any soy based nugget I’ve had. Highly recommend.

The box says crispy but at the temperature they suggest at 400°, they are definitely soggy. When I flipped them the breading came off, so I ended up having to bake them at 475 and that did the trick

Omg I’ve been buying these since 2021 and they’re my absolute favorite. I know people complained about them being soggy, but I liked the soft shell & I remember these being sweeter too. Perfect vegan alternative for MCD nuggets. This new box I just bought came in a thinner plastic wrap inside, and the nuggets have a crispier, more crumbly shell.

My husband says these are better than real chicken nuggets, and I agree. My 8 and 2 year old love them, too.

Would love to try more products from this brand. The nuggets do tend to go fast when they come in. The taste and texture are really good. They go fast in my household when I get them.

Taste is good, texture could be better. Left in oven for a extra few minutes than directions said to and it still wasn’t as crispy as I’d like. Still delicious, the Buffalo ones are even better though. Sale price was really good too.

I don't understand why these are so highly rated on here. I usually actually prefer non-meat nuggets despite not really bring a vegetarian but these just taste like cardboard and sadness. It took a lot of dipping sauce just for me to finish them. I like what they were trying to do with these, but they need to work on the recipe.

These are delicious!!! They bake so well in my mini oven, they have the texture of real chicken, the breading is delicious. I’m not vegan nor plant based, I still eat some meat. I can happily say these are delicious for people looking to cut down on their meat consumption, but still wanna enjoy some nuggies. I will 100% be buying these again and again. (I like these way better than their buffalo flavor btw)

i air fried them for longer than suggested and they were still soggy and had a weird after taste

I’ve tried several plant based nuggets and this wins in texture and taste! I toss some in my air fryer at 390 degrees and they some out crispy yet the breading is never hard at all. Love dipping these in bbq sauce or sriracha mayo. Wish I could buy these in larger boxes.

These are soooo good! I’m not a fan of meat substitutes and never believed anything can replace the real thing. These have changed my mind. I bought them for my VERY picky 6 year old that I’ve been trying to get more plant based items into. I cook them until crispy and even she likes them. When I make them for her I always make sure to make a couple extra for me to munch on lol I wish they came in bigger quantities. Target, PLEASE don’t stop selling these!!!

I didn’t read the packaging, but apparently these are made from jackfruit, so it has a very meat-like texture. My dad is a complete and utter carnivore, but I had these for lunch the other day and he couldn’t tell these nuggets are plant based. The breading is so well seasoned and crisps really well in the oven. I’m thinking about chopping up a few of these for a salad. Just added them to my cart for another purchase and will continue to purchase!

My wife is mostly vegetarian, so we try a lot of non-meat substitutes. I eat meat, but I like to try the stuff she eats to keep a pulse on how close meat substitutes are getting to the real thing. I’ve had my fair share of freezer chicken nuggets, and these definitely fit the bill. Had I not read the box and previously known these weren’t made of chicken…well, I probably never would’ve known. If you’re an omnivore like me, you’ll feel right at home. We cooked them as instructed in the oven, and they turned out as expected. I like my nuggets a tad crispy - maybe they would’ve been a little crispier if we cooked them a bit longer or threw them in the air fryer. We tried the nuggets with ranch and BBQ sauce. I personally prefer the BBQ pairing with these, but I’ll let you be in the driver’s seat of your own tastebud preferences. Overall, I was pretty impressed. A welcome meat substitute for the meat-deprived.
