Q: Does this bag have a shoulder strap so you can carry it on your back?

  • A: it does not have a shoulder strap. it just has a drawstring to close the bag and you can see in the picture a black handle.

  • A: Nope, HOWEVER, what I did after the seat was in, and used the cinch system, I tied the excess cord to the carry handle you see on the front and used it on my shoulder. Not ideal....but manageable traveling with one young child by yourself (which is what I did). :) Super easy to spot your bag when they decide to offload it with the rest of luggage instead of at the gate at my destination, so just in case they do that to you as well....

Would not recommend. Material is cheap and it’s lacking a carry strap. Very awkward and uncomfortable with multiple bags and a toddler. The drawstring is so long it was tangled in another person’s wheel at baggage claim.

Great idea, but not the right material

The idea of this bag is fantastic. It's big enough and can be carried easily. We also appreciated the space to label the bag. Unfortunately, the material is not strong enough to withstand being handled by as gate checked bag. In our case, the bag had holes after the first use. After 4 flights, we had to throw it away. Please use stronger material in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bag for travelling with a car seat. It keeps the car seat clean when other bags do not. The airplane cargo hold is very dirty so bags and car seats can get very dirty. We had one before but the airport lost our car seat and the bag was covering the car seat.

Nice car seat bag for airport or storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this car seat bag free of charge for an honest review from influenster. It is a very useful car seat bag. I am using it for storing a spare car seat in our garage. If I were to ever need to fly this is handy because it has a name tag and place for an air tag so you can track where your car seat is. It is affordable so I would buy it even for the purpose of storing the seat. I also like that it has a sturdy handle making it easier to lug around.

Not worth buying

You are better off buying a sturdier, more protective bag for your car seat especially if it's a nice/new one. We used this bag for literally one flight to and from our destination and the bag arrived with holes, black marks everywhere, and scratches on the car seat. The cord is so long that the gate people closed it in the door and we had to wait for someone to re-open the gate door to get it out so we could put the carseat back onto the stroller, all while holding an infant, carry on bags, and trying to stay out of the way of everyone. I wrote our contact info on it of course and Target is still forcing us to ship it back for the refund.

Works for what it is.

Good for what it is but after a few flights started to get holes in the bag. The straps are not ideal to carry on the shoulder. If you’re traveling with another adult this will work but if you’re traveling alone, spend more and get something with wheels. I know for how much I travel with the little one, I will be buying one with wheels.

Did not hold up

We bought this car seat bag for our airline travel about a year ago. We have probably used it 4 times so far and I can't use it anymore because the string to close it has fallen out. The material is also flimsy and is already more aged than the other car seat bag we have been using for 4 years for our older kids car seat.

Did the job!

I bought this bag for keeping it clean during 4 flights.The seams held up for the weight and size of my son's carseat. It filled the bag completely being such a large carseat and I was still able to tie it shut. The material did get ripped in a few spots from handling at the airport and a piece of my carseat was broken at the base because there is obviously no cushion, but luckily doesn't impact the safety of the carseat. I was worried if the handle would rip from the weight while carrying it but it never ripped. I would definitely purchase this bag again because it did keep my carseat clean and all tidy without having to worry if any of the belts/safety latches were dragging behind me.
