Q: I've had mine for just over a week and when the compressor is on, it makes a loud consistent gurgling noise that my whole office can hear. Has anyone else had this issue and how was it resolved?

A: We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your product experience. The noise level on this model is less than or equal to 42 dBA. This model uses a compressor to keep the interior compartment refrigerated. The compressor does not run continuously all day but it only runs when the temperature rises above the set temperature and then it will turn off automatically until the next cycle. The sound of compressor might feel like it is louder when it breaks the silence waking up from a stationary phase. I love this little fridge! I got it in the retro blue color get so many compliments on it. It was delivered with no issues. The handle is the only thing you have to put together on the fridge. It works great and lots of room. Highly recommend.

The handle on this was impossible to attach. The screws that were provided are super tiny and wouldn’t keep the handle attached to the fridge. Alamo seems like the wrong screws were provided. Also, the handle was not aligning correctly. Ended up returning it.

I ordered this refrigerator twice. Each time I received an email saying that the item was delivered. Called customer service to let them know it was never received. Customer service let me know the item was returned by the shipper. The shipper had indicated that the item may have been damaged during shipping and could not be delivered. Money was refunded.

I love the fridge itself-nice size and great color. Unfortunately, after unboxing I noticed a big, deep dent in the side of the door. Very disappointing that there was no padding on the corners, only the sides. I also wish the door could be opened on either side.

The handle that I had to install doesn't fit together properly. So the outer plastic handle is not staying attached to the underside if the handle. They are supposed to be screwed together but their alignment is off so the out part doesn't fit the under part.

PERFECT! This little red fridge is nothing short of perfect…for me anyway. Had it delivered to my office, unpacked & running in no time. There was a lot of packaging but the item itself was not damaged. No dents, etc. It arrived at the end of the work day so it had all night to cool down and was cold the next morning. Holds a 12 pack of soda, Gatorade bottles, and other incidental items to get me there my work day. I really wanted a separate freezer compartment but this one holds more than it looks like it could. It frosted over in a matter of days and surprisingly works extremely we’ll keep frozen items frozen. This is extremely quiet!!! I sits directly behind my office chair near my phone. I forget it’s there bc it’s so quiet. Definitely worth buying. It’s Kenmore so you know it will last.

The small freezer section has too many areas that does not freeze. It’s constantly running, kind of an obnoxious ambient noise, as if it struggles to stay cold, even if I never open it for over 24 hours. The color is nice. The size is perfect. It seems sturdy and well made until you attach the handle. The handle belongs on a toy, it’s plastic & looks tacky, I’m disappointed.

The refrigerator arrived with adequate packaging. Easy assembly with door handle which is plastic. So far cooling and freezing as expected. No abnormal noises. I did let the unit sit for 24 hours before plugging in just in case it was tipped during shipping.
