Description
Add a touch of style to your home with the Mission 3/4" Decorative Bay Window Double Curtain Rod by Kenney. The 3/4 inch diameter Mission bay window double curtain rod in black or brushed nickel features large square finials to make a bolder statement. The Kenney Mission 3/4" Decorative Bay Window Double Curtain Rod is a great solution for updating and layering the curtains, sheers, or valances on your bay window or oriel window. Layering curtains gives you more control over how much light to let into your room throughout the day and provides more insulation during colder months. To layer, place heavier, decorative curtains on the front 3/4” rod and lighter, sheer curtains on the back 5/8” rod. Made of steel, this bay window curtain rod can be adjusted in the center 28 to 72 inches and on both sides 22 to 37 inches and projects 2.8 inches from the wall. It is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings. Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel bay window double curtain rod with decorative finials (1.89” L 2.47” W X 2.47” H), 6 mounting brackets, 4 swivel connection knuckles, screws, drywall anchors, and installation instructions.
When considering purchasing a curtain rod, measuring the area is essential to ensure a perfect fit. Here’s a few helpful tips on how to measure before buying. Determine the Curtain Rod’s Placement. Above Your Window: For a more spacious appearance, hang your curtains 4" to 6" above your window’s frame or trim. Choose Your Curtain Rod’s Width: Measure the width of your window, including the frame or trim. Measure the Curtain Rod’s Diameter: Consider the weight of your curtains (e.g., blackout curtains, thermal curtains, or sheers) when selecting the rod diameter. Choose the appropriate curtain rod size based on the weight and style of your drapes.
