We miss the original Oat & Honey Flapjack mix!

We tried substituting this and other flavors for the original Oat & Honey Flapjack mix which you discontinued. This mix is drier and the taste is bland. Please bring back the original product!

What's up with the grams? I'm American, I do ounces not grams. What's 18 grams milk? I used 3/4 cup. I don't think that's correct. Tossing it, to complicated. I'll make my own. Ugh.

These are so good I had to come to this website for the first time to leave a review. Like the best pancake mix, regardless of whole grain and protein content. We make them with 1/2 water, 1/2 whole milk, and fry each one in butter. My toddler has an egg allergy, so I'm extra grateful to have access to tasty, easy, healthy, egg-free pancake mix. THANK YOU!

Love the product but why did the nutrition change?

I like all the flavors but I just bought the birthday cake flavor and the nutrition label is vastly different than the one I bought 1 month ago. 1/2 cup serving went from 190 calories to 220 calories and the box says 16oz but one label says 8 servings and the other says 10 servings. What changed?

Ha, you can smell those professionally written fake positive reviews from a mile away. Not so with the pancake aroma anymore. And that wonderful saliva-inducing smell is not the only thing missing since they changed the recipe; so is the color, texture, and the taste! Please let me know when you go back to that terrific original recipe so I can start buying it again.

Was Healthier Brand, Not Sure

I agree with Tron 123456.... bring back the healthier ingredients. It is one of the main reasons I pay the extra for Kodiak. I can get much cheaper brand, but have bought Kodiak because of the healthy protein amount and the previous contents had lower sodium. I will be watching the ingredients to decide if I will chage back to other brand.

Best Ever Pancakes!

I love pancakes but can’t do “empty” calories. This Buttermilk version, using milk vs. water, is so delicious I will never eat restaurant pancakes again. I add a little cinnamon and sliced almonds for crunch, and then eat them like crumpets, with a little butter, raspberry jam or maple syrup. DELISH and satisfying! Made with blueberries too, takes a bit longer to cook with added berry moisture.

Miss the old recipe

I’ve been getting these for a year or two. The nutrition content is a plus and they tend to keep me fuller for longer. However, the new recipe tastes and cooks differently. As an added negative, the same size serving now has more calories. I would be very happy to see the old recipe come back!

Good quality food BUT

I will NEVER make these as waffles again, I am currently writing the review standing in front of my waffle maker. I have a house of 11 and a double waffle maker and it has taken me 2 hours sp far to make them because they're sticking to my waffle maker. I followed the recipe to a "T" no need to change it up right? STICK TO MAKING PANCAKES! I've made these as pancakes Plenty of times and it's great. I attempted to make the batter thicker because I thought maybe it was too thin and that's why it was ticking and I did that and it still doesn't work period I also start using a cooking spray which I never use when I use my homemade recipe and that didn't help either period

More calories, less good stuff

2 out of 5 stars
The calories significantly increased. I was minding my business one morning and made me my usual Kodiak dessert. I logged the calories into MyFitnessPal and noticed the calorie and macro change. Sneaky, sneaky. I guess another company cares more about cheaper ingredients.

Our flapjack mixes have been updated to more accurately reflect the amount in 1/2 cup. 63g is the most accurate weight. When we moved to the more accurate value for the 1/2 cup measurement, we updated our nutrition label to reflect. We always appreciate consumer feedback on our products and will pass this note along to our product development team.

More carbs and calories

These are something I looked forward to everyday as my dessert (I have been counting macros for some time now) and they were perfect! Now the amount of calories and carbs are way too much and they don’t fit into my diet like they used to. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. All those extra calories and carbs do not make up for the fact that it went from 14g of protein to 15g of protein. Bring back the ones with 190 calories and 30g of carbs!

Boo formula change

2 out of 5 stars

Agree with the most recent reviewers. The formula change and macro change is noticeable. Harder to cook, batter consistency is strange and taste is different and not as great. I noticed right away when the weight for a serving was different. I measure in grams on a scale and then I said uh oh.

I noticed that the nutrition label has changed. The new formula has 14 more carbs per cup of mix. The new formula also doesn't mix as well. The taste is off, please go back.

I was a loyal buyer, but after comparing the boxes I see it is now 15g protein, and the old was 14g, so I dug deeper on the label. More calories, out with oat flour, and in with whey, more sugar. I could TASTE the difference. No a loyal buyer anymore.
