Kodiak Frontier Flapjack & Waffle Mix Buttermilk & Honey - 24oz

These are absolutely horrendous. Completely inedible. Threw away the batter and mix after making one disgusting pancake, wouldn’t feed this product to my dog let alone my family. If you want gluten free, try another brand. Awful.

I bought these to get a healthier spin on traditional pancakes. I threw the box away! Horrible, no matter how you prepare them!

I wish I could share a photo of these beautiful, voluptuous pancakes. They are so delicious and easy to make. Give it a wombo combo with some sausage and you’re halfway there to your daily protein goal.

Transparency please. They took off the "Non-Gmo" label but claim on their website it is still in effect. Why would they take off the label then??

I love the pancakes and because I'm working out a lot I've been adding protein. This is an excellent way with an egg and milk. I'm also trying to eat clean there are no additives. I'm hooked

We were loving the Kodiak Frontier pancakes until the nutrition label changed to reflect even more sodium. Can't eat them!

Love the high protein and seemingly clean ingredients. Texture is on point-- but these can be a little bit finnicky to cook. They are not regular pancakes. They need to be cooked slightly lower and slower than traditional. But other than that they are amazing. Taste is great and the low sugar content is perfect

I bought this mix for the first time and will not purchase it again. I prepared and cooked as instructed, but the inside of the pancake was gummy and uncooked. I tried many many times, tried cooking low and slow, tried putting a lid on pan to contain the heat, tried changing the ratio of mix to water - nothing worked. Very unfortunate as I really wanted to like this product. Want to add that after my numerous tries, I read a number of posts in Reddit stating the same issue.

A quick healthy meal better than my favorite pancake place! I couldnt believe I made them, and my family gobbled the buttermilk flavor up before I could sit down to the table. They were full of flavor and so fluffy. And filling!

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I fell for the hype. First time I tried them I said these are (are because they still are) disgusting. No way around it. Threw it out. Second time I wanted to redeem them for protein intake and cravings. These are dry , have a weird taste, brittle, suck the soul out of you. The shamwow could not soak up more of the syrup. And still manage to be dry. Then I thought I'm gonna spend all day and try different ways to spruce these up there has to be a way. Buttermilk, coconut milk, and coconut fat and cream, almond milk, baking powder , adding protein powder, making the muffins, making banana bread by that point throw away any healthy aspiration you might have, if your going to the extent of making banana bread with this mix, Or venturing to some exotic pancakes recipe like tres leches, or Vietnamese coffee pancakes...both of these use condensed milk. I hope I could have been in the taste kitchen when they all looked at each other and lied and said how good these taste.

This morning is made waffles with buttermilk power cake mix . I replaced the water with fairlife 2% milk, which has 13g of protein per cup,( I have done that previous times as well), added a tbsp of flaxseed and some blueberries. I added about a extra tbsp of milk due to adding stuff. Amazing. Delicious and I made them even healthier Yes the blueberries can be messy in a waffle maker but so worth it. I think I will add 2 tbsp of flaxseed next time as could not even tell they were there.

Quality and taste have declined. Now there are better alternatives out there. Ingredients have changed, eg. buttermilk had steadily gotten further and further down the ingredient list among other changes. I no longer buy these as the price isn't justified anymore. Big companies keep doing this mistake.

As an athlete & mom we are always looking for ways to get more protein into our meals. Kodiak power cakes with milk and an egg are our favorites. 💜

I just want to say I love your products. I have tried the pancakes and the waffles and they are amazing. Def hands down one of my favorite companies. I could eat your product everyday.

Leaving a review so I can try to post pics of my kodiak waffle, don't let the one pic with a mangled waffle deter you, it's not the batters fault it looks like that. The mix is a good healthy substitute to help with the Sunday morning carb craving.
