Why is it that we go the extra mile for our skin but not our scalp? This non-drying scrub removes flakes, product build-up, excess sebum, and hard water deposits from the scalp, giving you a cleaner canvas through gentle exfoliation. I formulated this with a sugar complex to keep natural moisture intact. Contains Zip-Up Technology (tm), our proprietary strengthening complex designed to "zip-up" split ends while targeting weak areas of the hair, smoothing the appearance of damaged cuticles and helping to protect hair from environmental stressors and color fade.
I read the other reviews, but decided to try this anyway because I couldn't find any other scalp scrubs.
Don't waste the money.
It's so sticky and thick. It takes forever for me to use because I have to add it to my palm, add water to loosen the product, then apply it in sections. Ain't nobody got time for that.
If I apply it directly to my scalp from the bottle I will be there all day trying to get it out. It's just too thick and has zero workability.
I wish there were more scalp exfoliants on the market!
why? why does this have glitter in it ?glitter is the last thing i want to put in my hair as a grown woman. I haven't used yet but this fact alone means this is going back. I put a bit of product between my finger, rinsed it off and there is still glitter on my hands. strange choice for the product.
Turns my shampoo into a crazy lather, lots of volume!!

I have thin hair, but A LOT of it. So after a week of using dry shampoo, it loses its volume and becomes greasier quicker than normal.
I’ve been using this product for a couple months now and I love it! I love that after I use it, I get a really thick lather out of my shampoo then when I go to blow dry, my hair smells like the scrub (which is kinda like a sexy must scent) and has ton of volume.
My first time using it wasn’t successful, so I’ll include what I’ve learned works best for me:
1) wet hair
2) squeeze about two quarters size into hand. Depending on where I’m applying it, I’ll smooth it out a little into my palm, tilt my head to the side (so my hair isn’t flat on my head) and apply it on the side of my head. Or I’ll focus it onto my finger tips if I’m getting my crown area.
4) work in sections and keep your hands wet. If you apply too much to one area, you can water the product down so it’s easier to scrub in.
5) rinse thoroughly
6) apply shampoo (be prepared for lots of lather !!)
I’ve been using this product every 10 days for the past six months or so, and I *love* it. I have thick wavy hair that is dry and almost shoulder length. This scrub is a paste that has to be applied to the scalp in sections. I put some in my left palm then scoop out a little with the fingers on my right hand and apply where I want it. To me, this is like a spa treatment so I only do it when I have more time to pamper myself. Obviously, the shorter the hair, the easier it is to apply the product to the scalp. Anyway, I find that this rinses out easily and pairs really well with the micellar clarifying shampoo and scalp mask next. This regimen has completely eliminated itchy scalp for me and always makes my hair nice and soft. The products also smell like something you’d find at a 5 star resort. I will definitely repurchase when I run out!
