Massage into the scalp for about a minute per section. 4. Work the co-wash through middle and ends as you rinse it out. Tip: Reset your scalp now and then by rotating in a moisture rich shampoo.

The product was decently hydrating, but that was completely overshadowed by the horrible smell. I might have gotten a bad batch or something, but it smelled like nail polish remover...definitely not something I want on my hair. I've used the other co-wash of this brand (peach bottle) and it has a nice light fresh scent, so I thought this one would be similar. Boy was I wrong. The co-wash is so expensive I feel like I have to use it up, however, I get a headache from the strong unpleasant scent that stays on my hair. It's possible I got a bad batch or something, but I would definitely not purchase this ever again!

Kristin Ess is definitely the right product for my very curly hair. Instead of a lot of frizz I now have beautiful waves and curls that last throughout the day. I am very pleased with these products and will continue to use them regularly.

I love the smell. It’s just a little hard to get out of the bottle. I 100% will be buying this product again. It worked great at helping the other products in the line form my curls.

Overall would not buy again. Not a big fan of the scent, which smelled like bad, artificial perfume. I also found it be more drying than expected. Somehow even more drying that the other KE cowash, which is labeled as being less hydrating.

I really wanted this to work, but like other reviews, I feel like it leave my hair dry too dry for my liking and my curls don’t hold as well as they used to before I switched to this product. The bottle is also super hard to get product out of. Maybe I got a defective bottle, but I feel like I have to use all my strength to get the smallest bit out, and I’m an athlete lol. It gets the job done when I’m not quite ready to use shampoo again during the week, but I wish it was better.

This is one of the few products that is CG friendly and detangles my hair SO well! I have a combo 2B/3A, waist length hair. It leaves my hair moisturized, soft, and manageable. I was struggling with breakage after a round of bleaching and this brought it back to feeling healthy and strong. My ONLY issue, is that I wish it came in a larger size. I use it so quickly!

I tried this when I ran out of my normal co-wash. The smell is a little spicy / musky, which is not my favorite scent. I don't feel like my hair or scalp is really cleaned all that well. Moving on to try other products, won't buy this one again.

I love the packaging, but this made my hair dry out. I was noticing that my ends looked terrible and my hair was getting more tangled easier. Didn’t do the job for me.

This product works well! Leaves my hair feeling moisturized and clean. The smell is soft yet pleasant. Worked good for light wash days. This product does not lather. Overall I was satisfied with this product (4C hair) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Love this cowash! It smells really good, leaves my scalp and hair clean without being harsh at all. My hair is so soft after using it and my dry curls love the hydration it gives them. All in all amazing curly girl product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I really wanted to like this. The ingredients are great and CG friendly, which is especially awesome for the price! Unfortunately, though it had great slip when applying, it didn't leave my hair feeling cleansed -- it was pretty heavy when used in place of my regular cowash, and then I had less volume. Used in conjunction with other products in this line, my hair had less body than usual, less shine, and my curls had less definition. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This co-wash is creamy, gentle, truly non-sudsy and thoroughly cleans as long as you follow Kristins steps to a T! Im a scents person and didnt smell much of one in this so I missed having an aromatic experience but if youre sensitive to scents this may work well! Even without using the lines moisture mask after, my curls are soft and manageable and it also helps me detangle when Im using it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The cowash does a good job of getting my hair clean but it was a little harsh on my scalp. I noticed my dandruff was way worse after using this product. I dont think I would buy this product just for that fact but I also let my teen try it out and it works great for her. She hasnt really seen a difference with her curls though.
