I bought this for the great reviews. I needed an eyeliner for my inner lower eye. Yes, the inside. I know not all eyeliners do well with the inner lid but the advertisement made it look like it would do well. Wrong! I;ve tried all types but Rimmerl eye gel liner has consistently done well for me. I wanted to try something new so i tried this one---it was terrible. Like it didnt even go on well at all on the inner lid so i tried it on my upper lid - on top above my eye lash. It didnt go on dark and required several coats to even look like a dark line. Bottom line---dont waste your money on this product if you are looking for a dark line that lasts through the normal work day.

pros: long lasting- like does not budge or smudge ALL day long. this eyeliner is perfect for humid weather cons: dries down SO fast- layering the eyeliner ends up picking the eyeliner underneath resulting in patchiness. this eyeliner will look like it’s crumbling if you’re not precise i would not recommend this eyeliner to beginners or to experiment with. this eyeliner can be super frustrating to work with just on the daily with all the crumbling layers. i would recommend the other l’oréal infallible liquid eyeliner because it’s a lot easier to use and clean up. it does smudge slightly throughout the day but setting with eyeshadow does help prevent that.

I have used this for years. It's the best I can find to go on smoothly without pressing to hard, and not tug at my delicate skin. I apply it after my eyeshadow. It also seems to be pretty waterproof in spite of my watering eyes and fair skin. Most of my smudging seems to be from my mascara (I don't know if it's age of the product or what just sometime I have trouble and sometimes I don't. But I'm pretty sure it's not this eyeliner.) To remove it, I use a cream cleanser that was discontinued. I hope to find another good remover soon!

Terrible! The sharpener part won’t stay on- the tip was already messed up before I opened it- and apparently the product is supposed to last 16 minutes instead of 16 hours… I seriously can’t believe it lasted a few minutes - was under my eyes and non existent on top lids after literally 5 minutes- don’t fall for the gimmick

Hi there Lynyrd! We want to understand what happened just as much as you do. Your description of the liner and its results does not sound right for this pencil. This creamy liner should glide on. Use the included smudger for a smokey eye look. To sharpen, retract the liner, put the sharpener on the pencil end, and slowly extend the liner into the sharpener. As it swivels up, a point is formed. Retract the liner first, before removing the sharpener. I can’t find navy eyeliner anywhere anymore. Such a shame. Anyway, this one gets 3 stars because as a pro, it actually comes in navy and it stays on. As for the cons, it is that crayon-style that you can’t sharpen well, even with the tool on the other end, so you can’t do nice precise lines as easily as liquid. Now, when it says 16 hour wear, it literally means 16 hours. This eyeliner is impossibly difficult to wash this off. When I wear it, the next morning I always look like a sad clown with blue circles under my eyes in the morning, no matter how carefully I wash. That being said, as the only navy eyeliner I can find at my local target, it does the trick.

For a longwear blue liner you can sharpen with a makeup sharpener, we recommend using the Infallible Pro-Last Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Cobalt.
