About the Author

Laura Fernández (Terrassa, 1981) es autora de cinco novelas: Bienvenidos a Welcome (Elipsis 2008/Random House, 2019), Wendolin Kramer (Seix Barral, 2011), La chica zombie (Seix Barral, 2013), El show de Grossman (Aristas Martínez, 2013) y Connerland (Random House, 2017). Su obra ha sido traducida al francés y al italiano y sus cuentos han sido incluidos en numerosas antologías. Sus historias tienen el punch de un Douglas Adams que hubiera leído más de la cuenta a Stella Gibbons o a Evelyn Waugh, y la ambición de crear un complejo mundo propio de un Thomas Pynchon fan de Stephen King. Laura Fernández es también periodista y crítica literaria y musical, y una apasionada entrevistadora de escritores. En los últimos tiempos ha escrito principalmente para El País, aunque en el pasado ha colaborado en una infinidad de medios. También trabajó en un videoclub y montó una banda. Tiene dos hijos y un montón de libros de Philip K. Dick.
