The build of this globe gets repetitive very, very fast. But the few times you work on the stand are great and the land you put on the globe save this build, as well as the final product. The final product spins, and is even a good piece to use as decoration and you can be proud of yourself for completing it. But I did postpone completing this set many times which I rarely do.

I think my opinion falls in line with most. This is a clever idea and has a neat place as a display or educational piece, but the techniques were (necessarily) repetitive. Props for the sweet little New Zealand.

It is an incredible display piece and has wow some of my guests. Building it was fun however could be repetitive due to achieving the spherical shape. If you don’t mind that then definitely get it the globe spins really well and looks really clean no complaints more than happy thank you so much lego for letting me build this 10/10

This build is like our world today. The mix of lego styles must come together I'm harmony for the whole globe to stay together. It had its challenges in the build not being a flat surface but when completed there was great satisfaction in how it is together as a whole. Patience was key on this one for me.

Was so excited to get this. My grandson (age 5) and I built it together. It was rather repetitious which made it easier to build but was also a little boring. The most disappointing part was that when my grandson (who is very careful with things like this) was turning The Globe and it started falling apart. Was quite the challenge to get it back together and then putting it on the stand which was hard even from the beginning. We did get it back together but now are afraid to touch it :( The other thing that was disappointing was the "glow in the dark" signs. We have yet to see them glow and we've had it finished for months.

It takes a lot to build this. The globe sections are repetitive. You build four wedge shaped pieces in two pairs. The each piece has land added to it before being added to the equator ring. The main problem is the some of the flat pieces don't stay on the backing piece. In the end I had to apply sticky tape on the backs of three pieces to fix them on the globe.

This is a really great piece to display. When friends come over it is a conversation starter to talk about the build and travel in general. Any set with no stickers is also a winner. It’s a modern twist to the older style globes out there.

Building it was great and fun! It was also fairly easy to follow the instructions and fix mistakes, since it is fully made of pictures. It took hours but nothing to difficult. It makes a great decoration too! You obviously can’t play with it since it’s a globe, not a toy, but it was still fun building it. It spins well, too. I recommend!

I really enjoyed this build. It took me about 5 hours to complete, and I am definitely an experienced builder. A little repetitious when building the “slices” of each hemisphere, but I enjoyed it. This is a perfect size to display, and I plan to take it to work for my desk.

I really enjoyed building The Globe, using new building techniques and seeing it all come together. My one criticism however, is that the stand was a great section to build, but the next sections were pretty monotonous, and the same, with the exception of the countries. - that aside though, it was still enjoyable. Since building the globe, everyone that visits always compliments how awesome it looks, and it' relatively functional.

A long time AFOL and have to say very disappointed at the (dull) repetition in the build here. Sat unfinished for a while as just couldn’t animate myself to finish. The globe is an interesting idea and the end product is nice, it will go in my university office for students to see. But moving forward will be more careful before buying an Idea set that clearly requires so much repetition.
