A:Â You cannot record TV programs on this LG DVD Player with USB Direct Recording, Model # DP132. This unit only records to USB Flash drives that are connected to the it and TVs do not have a USB port that outputs TV signals that you can record, but even then, a TV image is much to large to record on a USB Flash drive and you would need a DVR that has a hard drive with enough storage space to record TV programs from a cable Set-Top box...^IFV

Got This Dvd Player One Month Ago And It Has Been A Piece Of Junk. It Doesn't Read The Dvd (Brand New), It Just Spins. If It Does Read The Dvd, It Eventually Stops In The Middle Of The Movie And Freezes.

Great little DVD player! Hooked up in 15 minutes using the a/v component wires provided - I actually like that it doesn't use an HDMI port. This was for my 7 yo daughter's room & she can work it herself now - she loves being able to watch movies in her room. Great price too!

Bought this toe record programming on tv but looks like it only records sound. If I wanted to record sound only I would have bought a cd recorder.
