Liquitex® Acrylic Clear Gesso

Clear Gesso from Liquitex is perfect for priming a wide variety of porous surfaces, including canvas, linen, paper and wood. Acrylic gesso seals and protects while creating tooth for adhesion of acrylic and oil paints, as well as pastels, oil pastels, graphite and charcoal. It dries to a clear, flexible, non-cracking and non-yellowing surface. Gesso may be applied with a brush, roller or spray and may be thinned with water as needed. Two coats of gesso are recommended and may be sanded between coats for a smooth surface. Clear gesso provides a unique opportunity to allow surface textures such as wood grain to show through into the final artwork.
