Lobster with Catnip Plush Cat Toy - Boots & Barkley™

My cat is obsessed with this toy. He carries it around by the antennas and loves flipping it around. It lasted quite well for a couple months, but now I am finding strings EVERYWHERE.

I bought this because it’s stinkin’ adorable. However when I got home I realized that the string tail is not actually sewn in and easily pulls out. Knowing my cat, I decided to remove all the string before giving to him. If your cat likes to not only play with string, but also eat it, then I’d recommend removing the string entirely.

Bought this toy because it’s really cute but then I realized the strings on its tail come out really easily! This is really unsafe for cats if they eat the strings!!

We got this for our kitten and all the string comes out very easily. Not safe for cats or kittens because it could easily be ingested.

It's a perfect size for my cat. She plays with it well. I was a little disappointed that the cat nip smell really wasn't there.

my cat loves it, but the strings on the bottom come out very easily. he rips them out and leaves them all over the floor but all i can think of is if he were to eat one of those loose strings... that's a vet bill waiting to happen.

I was worried about the threads on this toy. Cut them off, but this is my kittens favorite toy to pounce on, uses it to slide across the floor lol.

Got this as a birthday gift my my three-legged cat and it’s her favorite toy! She loves the crinkle sound it makes, pawing at the strings (possible hazard), and gnawing on the antenna’s. 5/5⭐️

We enjoy this toy! The crinkle is great and my cat child took a liking to it quickly. The only thing is that the little strings come out fairly easily so beware of that!!

When we got a new kitten, I went to Target to get some stuff for Gizmo. This lobster has been sooo played with, not only by the kitten but by our 7!year old cat as well. He has 1.5 antennae left and half a tail, so I’m getting another one because our original dude looks pretty rough. Worth the money and more!

Sorry for the gross picture, but this needs to be addressed. I have three cats, and one of them in particular is crazy about this toy. She plays with it all the time. I love its cute design, but I would have loved it a lot better if it didn't have the long strings, which as I have now been reminded of, can be deadly to cats. If you buy it, do not be like me - CUT THE STRINGS OFF IMMEDIATELY before giving this to your cat. I don't know who designed this thing and thought long strings were a good idea, but my cat inadvertently ingested them during her playtime and it caused serious damage. Strings can kill your cat if left unchecked or unnoticed - again, I repeat, CUT THE STRINGS OFF IMMEDIATELY. Do NOT chance it. If you see one hanging from their butt, DO NOT PULL IT OUT. Seek vet attention immediately. Unless this toy is redesigned and removes the strings, or replaces them with something else (maybe a fabric piece sewn on with crinkle paper inside it for the tail instead), I can't recommend it.

We found a feral kitten a couple weeks ago- very timid and aggressive. Have been working with her through socialization and now she is ready to start playing with toys. This was her first toy and she loves it. I needed something that made a little bit of noise but did not want to scare the cat. the lobster’s claws crinkle so it was enough noise to make her curious but not frighten her as she is still a bit timid. She is having a blast playing with the toy. 5 stars. Thank you target for offering such a variety of toys based on cats needs.

When I saw this cat toy, I knew my Fatty had to have it... he's got a liking for toys that have loose threads and the lobster's tail was the ticket. I love nothing more than to see my Fatty having fun, the l'il old man, and this here lobster did the trick.

Very cute toy. One of my cat’s favorites! He’s tough with toys and so far this little guy is holding up. Better quality than I expected.

My cat couldn’t put this toy down when I gave it to her. She really likes it! :) It’s not a big plush, and I think it’s the perfect size for a cat to carry around. :)
