Love the bike. Assembly was quick since the base comes already assembled. The flywheel works as expected and is very smooth. The overall construction is very sturdy and solid. If you want a bike that is great for a quick morning workout this bike stands up to the expectations. A great bike for the price.

I assume it's easy to setup, my husband assembled it in about 20 minutes. After the first ride, the left pedal popped off. We had to fasten it with metal glue which worked great. I've cycled an additional 4 times and it never popped off again. A lot of reviews complain the seat is uncomfortable but I don't find it to be uncomfortable at all. It's more comfortable than spin bikes at the gym. As for quality, it's great for the price. I definitely feel like I'm getting an intense workout. If you're on the fence about the purchase I would say go for it. It's super affordable and you can watch free spin videos on YouTube. It doesn't take up a lot of space either. I have it in my bedroom and it's not an eye sore.

I also had an issue with the right pedal unscrewing and falling off. You really have to screw it in tight to make it stay on. The verdict is still out on this bike. I've used it twice now and as long as pedal stays on, I will continue using it. Otherwise I might have to return it. Also, there is no pedometer so you cannot see how far you are going.

Ordered ths Marcy training cycle after looking at many in this price range for many months and reading many reviews. Recd the package intact with no problems. Assembly was no problem. Have only had this cycle for 2 weeks so do not know if it will have problems in the future. But so far our family of four adults-3males-1female uses it daily. The bike is in our garage. It runs smooth, seat is okay..not terribly uncomfortable, cycle does not wobble and it is easy to move out of the way (has two small wheels in front) into a corner at the end of the day when its time to move our vehicles into the garage. Like I said, there are 4 adults who use this cycle and we have no complaints so far. We are all very pleased. We are all different heights, weights and sizes. My wife wanted me to mention she is 5'5 and overweight..her words ;) and loves it and has no problems using it. The cycle can be changed to meet everyones physique before use very easily. One of the peddles did come loose but I tightened it and it seems to be fine for now.

DO NOT BUY! I was so super excited to get this bike, put it together fairly easy. Second time i used it the right pedal fell right off, rolling my ankle (mind you I weigh 130lbs) I got off and went to see if I could screw the pedal back in. The threading where the pedal screwed on was completely shredded and shards of metal pieces where falling out!!! Called target and they wanted me to PURCHASE a replacement pedal. Wouldn’t even be helpful considering it wasn’t the pedal piece broke, but the frame it screwed in to. Such a disappointment and now i have to jump through hoops hoping to get a refund and return the hunk of junk. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Bike is nice, seat is absolutely horrible. I replaced it with a better seat before actually using it. I do like the bike a lot with the new seat.

Just assembled and used this cycle for the first time today. Assembly was very simple as the core of the bike was already put together, it took me 15 minutes tops to install the peddles, base, handlebars and seat. Very solid & sturdy construction. As some other reviews have mentioned the seat is not a super cushioned, and may be uncomfortable to some riders, but it's a real cycle saddle very similar to my actual Specialized road bike, so it's perfect for me because it's what I'm used to. So if you're expecting a mega soft seat, either buy a gel seat cover or buy another seat, it's a universal bike saddle so you can sang one anywhere they sell bike parts. Overall this cycle is ideal for anyone looking to get some exercise at home without breaking the bank. It get's my 5 stars with ease!

Received defective merchandise

3 out of 5 stars
AmT - 7 years ago
Out of the box it was very obvious that I was sent defective cycle. Not a shipping issue as the box was pristine. This is at the manufacturer level. The front frame where the handle bar connects was bent and unusable as it was. Upon review, i found that the underneath of the seat which connects to the bike was likewise bent. I was able to bend out the front part with the aid of pliers to fit the handlebar, however the seat I could not bend out. I've switched it around so that the seat fits on the bike, but in this direction there is no screw to secure it. I may return but am going to see if it is functional as this is a very heavy item which I dread trying to repack for shipping. Thus far, I am disappointed in the item, though. I would not recommend spending over $200 on this. Will follow up once I've had a chance to give it a real test.

Amazing bike for $224.00 Pricing was very reasonable, very quick to put together, and our family loves it and we watch spin videos on YouTube for free! We are saving so much money from not buying into the Pelaton bike and membership. Over $2000 for the bike and $45 per month for a membership!
