Q: can i burn music onto these. are they rewritiable

I would recommend a CD-R for burning music, as the discs will have more compatibility with music players than a DVD disc. Generally OK. Maybe a 5% failure rate, but a little cheaper than others, so it balances out. They tend to be a little out of balance. My internal drives have been rejecting them, but my more robust external drives have been fine with them, although you can hear the growl of the vibration. Depends a lot on the batch, some much better than others. Also says 4.7 GB, while my systems all agree they are 4.3 GB. Overall they are fit for purpose at a decent price.

All I have to say is after transfering footage from my Video Cam Recorder to a Memorex DVD-R Disk I am assured long lasting Quality, Clear Viewing Footage on all of my Recorded items. Weather, Sportage Material an or Family Gatherings. Remember to keep your Recorded Disk in DVD/CD Storage Plastic Cases.

The dvd's were fine. However, the packaging by Memorex is crap.
Spindles have snapped on my last 2 orders - with dvds loose in the box.

Been using Memorex for years. This last spool was a disappointment. Several discs had these tiny pinholes (hard to describe) or lines on the printed side. Not something I've ever experienced with Memorex DVD-R blanks before.
