Q: Does it have a monitor that you can use when you don't want to use your smart phone?

A: Hello Rena, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, this model doesn't. We do have the MobiCam DXR that doesn't require WiFi and does come with its own monitor for viewing and audio.

Q: So you download an app onto your phone to control the device(s) correct? Can more than one person have this app on their device and be monitoring activity at the same time ?

A: Thank you for taking the time to reach out! Correct! The devices can be controlled through the app. The devices can only be bound to one account due to security reasons, but the devices can be shared with approximately 50 users on the MOBI Smart app. Multiple users can monitor the activity simultaneously.

Q: In the description it states that this device has movement monitoring, but no further explanation. How does it monitor movement? Is there an add-on device that can monitor breathing?

A: Thank you for taking the time to reach out! The MobiCam offers a motion detection alerts feature that will instantly send an app notification whenever someone moves in the camera's field of vision. We currently do not sell any add-on devices that can monitor breathing.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. We apologize for the difficulty you are experiencing with the MOBI WiFi Smart Nursery Kit. The MobiCam is ONLY compatible with a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you have a dual-band router that is both 2G and 5G we recommend splitting the router where each network is "uniquely" named and has its own password. This will prevent emissions of charge from the incompatible network which will result in the device falling "offline" if you are successfully able to pair it at all. Once your router is split your device will have a solidified connection to the 2G network without interference from the 5G network.
