I’m recovering from COVID and have unfortunately nearly lost my sense of taste and smell. Everything I eat either tastes weird, barely has flavor, or I can’t taste at all. Coffee is the one thing that still tastes “good”— albeit it doesn’t taste like it used to. But I can taste it and it’s the ONE thing I look forward to consuming each day. Problem is, I can’t have more than one cup of caffeinated coffee per day. I had some unflavored decaf k cups at home, but those tasted weird to me. I decided to try these, and I’m so glad I did! I could drink this all day. I know that if/when I get my normal sense of taste back, it will taste different to me than it does right now. But even my husband, who is NOT a decaf coffee guy, said that this is good stuff… so I’m confident that I’ll still like it (probably even more so!)

So much better than the Starbucks caramel pods! If you’re sensitive to artificial flavors but love caramel flavored coffee and prefer light roasts over dark, try this one. Sure, it’s never going to taste like a macchiato (real or Starbucks latte version) but it is delicious on its own, and doesn’t have the weird chemical aftertaste of its Starbucks rival. I have a Keurig k-mini and the pods work just fine with 10-12oz water. I have a preference toward lighter roasts, though, so someone who prefers a more robust coffee may want to reduce the amount of water used for a stronger brew.

Amazing flavor! No issues with the pod and I set my Keurig to 10oz, topped off with Carmel macchiato frothed creamer, spray whipped cream, drizzle a tiny amount of Ghirardelli’s Carmel back and forth and a half twist of the pink Himalayan sea salt. My daily morning routine.

Bought caramel macchiato decaf k cups for the very first time Jan 2023. Soooo disappointed in the bitterness and minimal caramel flavor. I have a new coffee maker and have used k cups for a decade with 4 different machines. it's the coffee NOT my process.
