Just got some dough that I buy all the time. packaging looks a little different. That’s fine. I’d pay whatever for your perfect cookie dough. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT IT. Someone decided to change your once perfect recipe and that was a huge mistake. I will not buy this again, I had to toss it. I honestly thought I got a bad batch when I opened it until I saw all the reviews. It looks lighter and grainy and whipped and like the chips were destroyed by this process. I tasted it and almost cried. This is not what I wanted. Why would you do such a thing????! Please fix it now. No one likes sad whipped chemical trash. No one asked for this. If you changed the recipe to save money it was a poor choice. I would much rather pay more for the original product. Instead I just won’t ever be buying your products again unless you change it back.

That homemade taste that i’ve been missing while i’m away at college. only reason i wouldn’t give it five stars is because the cookies are super tiny but that can also just be a preference thing. So good! super soft and the chocolate is super gooey when you take them out of the oven.

These used to be our go-to when we had a craving for a quick, delicious treat. We haven't had them in over a year, but this afternoon we were really craving them. The still-square thing isn't a deal breaker for us but the taste and texture were very off-putting! They did not taste the same as before and the texture was really grainy! What happened to our beloved Tollhouse?? So disappointing:-(

My kids say they now “smell & taste burnt.” They also have a smell of cinnamon to them now. I’m VERY allergic to cinnamon. The package just says “spices.” I’m not sure exactly what y’all have done differently to these lately but my family hates it. Judging by the MANY things I’ve seen across social media, most people also don’t like the changes. You really shouldn’t do an all-encompassing “spices” comment when some people are allergic to certain things.

We've bought these cookies for years, but hadn't purchased in a while. They didn't flatten and never browned on top, so I just kept adding time and checking them. Needless to say, the bottoms were burned a little and they were still pale on the top, only a little wider than they were when I put them on the on. Tasted terrible. Tried a 2nd batch and pulled them out sooner. They still didn't spread, but unburned didn't taste any better. I then thought my oven wasn't heating, but upon testing, found it perfect. I found the reviews discussing the recipe change and am just dumbfounded as to why delicious, perfect cookie recipes needed to be changed. It's almost like nothing was learned when New Coke was a complete failure. Whomever was responsible for this complete travesty should lose their job.
