Q: Does the product contain retinol, salicylic acid, or benzoyl peroxide? The ingredients list doesn't have them listed, but the wellness icons say that those ingredients are in it. Very confused

This product makes me break out every single time I use it. Usually Neutrogena is my go to for my sensitive acne prone skin but this is not it. It also leaves an oily feeling on my face after I use it which I assume is for hydration but It's not pleasant. To each their own everyone's skin is different but it's not for me.

I like this wash because it is gentle and doesn't dry out my skin. It is helpful for my acne prone skin. But sometimes I feel like it's a bit too soft and isn't great at getting my makeup off. I would buy it again, but I mostly only use it on days when I don't wear foundation.

I have struggled with cystic acne much of my adult life. This is both the gentlest and most effective face wash I have ever used. I use this, in combination with the AM and PM treatment is the ONLY thing that has ever worked. My skin looks healthier than it has in years.

I have been using this product along with the AM Stubborn Acne treatment since about May. I have been on Accutane in the past which cleared up my severe acne but it came back about two years after that. Since then, starting a new birth control has only escalated my acne. I have tried countless products, salicylic acid cleanser, retinol cream, literally every CereVe product under the sun. I came across this as a last effort to knock out my acne before reverting to another round of Accutane… THANK GOD I FOUND THIS. My skin has completely changed, if you have been trying countless products and your skin barrier is crying for help you need this. It is so gentle but so effective in clearing up acne… I realized I need gentle products to clear my acne and this one is the perfect cleanser. I will never go back to another cleanser, not to mention it’s the only one that doesn’t irritate my skin and make it burn while still healing acne.

I was looking for a new face cleanser and seen this new type that just came out. I figured I'd give it a try . First, the pump was almost impossible to open and I had to look up instructions on how to do so. After using it the first time, I noticed it wasn't lathering at all and barely took off and dirt or makeup. I had to use quiet a bit and still had to use a toner to get the rest of the dirt off and all my eye makeup as it barely budged when I washed it. Not only that but it slightly burned my face. I tried giving it a good chance and my skin looks worse! It burns when I apply it and have broken out more than ever! I've never been so disappointed in a product in my life. Don't waste your money

I used this product for months because I didn't think anytning in it could be causing issues. However, it felt very drying and my skin was red and irritated. I stopped using it and my skin felt better immediately. Not sure what is in this stuff but it really exacerbated my acne and my face did not feel clean at all. I tried posting this review on their website and it did not meet guidelines...which is suspicious.

Honestly my favorite cleanser that I have ever used. I have combination acne prone skin and most cleansers are either too stripping or they don't cleanse well. This product is perfect for my skin. It's not too stripping for my skin and doesn't dry me out when combined with my retiniod. The texture is really nice and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. I would highly recommend using it as the second step in a double cleanse routine.
